I love the nice shots and transitions, while at the same time keeping the video very informative! I watched till the end and it was a fantastic review - Keep up the great content! 😊
3:08, The in flight entertainment TV is almost similar and identical to Philippine, Air China, Korean, Japan airlines, ANA, Air India, Emirates, Ethiad, Qatar, Turkish and British, Boeing 777-300ER, Lot Polish airlines dreamliner and China Southern and Eastern's older Airbus A330-200, it needs to be refurbished.
Quite a number of airlines still uses this type of IFE system. I guess since Asiana will be merging with Korean Air, there’s nothing much they will do about their Entertainment system.
awesome review, deliberately chosen the Asiana A350-900 over the B777-200 for my upcoming trip, mainly for its superior in-flight entertainment experience. Do they offer slippers though (upon request)?
Thank you! The A350 is definitely a more superior experience. The cabin product is more modern and I’m pretty sure the A350 flight from Singapore offers Bibimbap onboard as well. There were no slippers and amenity bags offered during the flight though :(
took asiana last week. and did NRT-ICN-HKG with a 380 and a 772. To say the least it was a very interesting flight. A380 upperdeck was in a 2-4-2 and with the old dated seats and they had bins on the side and was very dirty. Meal service sucked and the pilot had no idea what rudder pedals were and we bounced and had a really rough landing into ICN. on the ICN-HKG catering was better and found out with a friend that the you can actually call other seats with the IFE which we in fact tried and was interesting and a throwback. Food on this flight was much better although landing could be better. in general I enjoyed the 772 better then the upper deck 380. weirdly had no wifi on board either on any but I guess Im too used to north American carriers.
The meals are smaller on their shorter flights. I also received a smaller meal on my second flight to Osaka. I tried the seat to seat call feature on the 772 as well, however it didn’t work. I guess their newer A350s and A321NEO has wifi onboard but you will have to pay.
I flew Asiana before, but it was in July of 2016 to June of 2017, I flew with them for the 1st time from Manila to Honolulu via Seoul return, but on the Airbus A330-300, all flights are good and okay, the food is okay, but the water taste differently, it's not a regular water that we drink in Singapore and the US. I been to Seoul before, both terminals, but I like the hub of Asiana, it looks nice and it's the best airport in East Asia.
It is. Thanks. Yes I was lucky. Well it's been 8 years since I last flew Asiana airlines and transit in Seoul. I would like to fly Asiana to Seoul 1 day next year in May.
Hey there, I had a check in bag and it didn’t exceed the weight limit. So I’m not sure if they were strict about the weight. Service wise was average, I will rate it a 7/10. Crew were polite and efficient but not that friendly. For seat comfort, I will give it a 8/10. Legroom was generous.
15:20, Really? No way, Scoot and T way fly to Singapore from Seoul, it's cheaper than Asiana and Korean. Is that your 1st time flying Asiana, Boeing 777-200ER, if so, how is it, how's the water on the plane with the meal, does the water taste almost differently than regular water that we drink in Singapore and the US, how many hours did you sleep on the plane and how long is security in Seoul, is it efficient?
I forgot to mention that they are a cheaper option for a full cost airline on this route. Yea, it was my first time trying out Asiana Airlines. It was hard for me to sleep on this flight, the most I had was a short 45 minutes of rest. I transited in Seoul and security checks were very fast. I will say it was a very average experience. Crew were average, not the friendliest and the entertaining was lacking. However the seats were comfortable. Thanks for watching! 😃
I took Asiana earlier this year. There was this instant when I wanted the pilot to fill in my logbook, but the cabin crew refused to help me and made excuses. Not even an apology was said from them. Then I looked for the cabin purser and asked if the pilot could fill in the logbook details provided. The pilots said yes and I found out that the crew that I asked earlier were actually lazy and unhelpful. They did not ask the pilot at all. The cabin purser would ensure to return my logbook once it's filled up. I was escorted back to my seat thereafter and the previous crew were shocked to find out I went to look for the purser in business class. But the stewardess who escorted me confronted them that they were not doing their job properly & were warned they might lose their job with that attitude they shown.
Man, that wasn’t a pleasant experience. At least the pilot and purser were able to grant your request. I guess the crew on Asiana is a hit or miss. From some reviews, others do have a better experience in terms of service. The crew on my transit flight were not the best either, I was firmly told off by one of the crew for filming :(
Not to mention, I seen a passenger splashed drink on an Asiana crew face as he was so pissed with their rudeness on the flight. Don’t know how they train their crew
You were lucky that you were still allowed to film. I have heard OZ crews are super camera-snitchy even though I saw a TON of them posting their own pics with uniforms on Instagram. Sadly Korean portrait rights are behind this; KE has the same issue although from my experience they are less likely to care. And yes, Weber 5751, old Panasonic IFE....Asiana needs to do a serious overhaul here....or leave it to Korean Air. The toughness to film onboard Korean carriers, plus their service attitude, is why I have decided to stick to Japanese and Taiwanese carriers. Way more accommodating. I would tbh put Asiana below Cathay Pacific - and I have heard some unfriendly stories about CX too.
I had to film in a less obvious manner on my Asiana flights. However on my transiting flight, one of the crew told me off for filming, which made my flight with Asiana not very pleasant. All in all, despite the ageing cabin product, the seats were comfortable. Can’t really expect too much from Asiana since they will be merging soon. I’m at least glad to give them a try before they merge.
@isaacflyaway : Same with KE. You have to really make your cameras less visible on almost all Korean carriers. I, however, think that's just KE and OZ. Seems like the LCCs and MCCs are less strict (Air Busan, Jeju Air, Air Seoul, Air Premia, etc.)
Always enjoy seeing the transitions with nice background music. Nice review as always!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed watching my reviews! 😃
Thanks for the great review! Quite surprised by the limited beverage selection 😮
Yea, I thought they would had offer more beverage options since it’s a full cost airline
Thanks for watching! :)

3-3-3 On B777 Is Not Often I See Now Days.Great Video And Info
Its nice to see Asiana still retaining a 3-3-3 layout on their B777s :)

great video. Did you check in a bag. Were they strict with the weight. How would you rate the trip out of 10 for customer service and seat comfort?

Bro your editing is boring and creativity. Using written words instead of your voice narrating the video made it look stale. Good effort though.😅😅
Thanks for your feedback! I'm trying to look for ways to improve my editing style.
