- My Interceptor 650 scrambler's first big adventure and our most epic Ride XP so far! Taking the deep sand lahar trail to the beautiful Mapanuepe Lake of San Marcelino, Zambales, advertised as the New Zealand of the Philippines. Do this trail and the destination it leads to live up to the hype?
(Apparently, we had taken one of the harder routes in the driest conditions)

Hope you enjoyed this, it was a blast to experience and edit! Check out the details of my Interceptor scrambler build in this video: ua-cam.com/video/UnbhZBZxeT0/v-deo.html
good build!
Very much enjoying your stuff but I've ridden thousands of miles on sand and crap roads in the Sahara and Egypt on a 1000cc BMW Paris Dakar bike and I learned the hard way as I see you guys are, struggling with really a small abound of drift and sand ridges on your roads. Here's the thing... grab you cajones and GUN the bike through it. Speed=more stability and you will blast through those ridges with few or no bike dumps. This dynamic works on open desert sands as well as speed will allow the bike to *float* over the soft stuff. More speed mate. Best from Montreal Canada.
Thanks for the insight!!
Everything about this trip was so fun and beautiful that it almost made me forget that I landed in poop!
“Humiga sa TAE!!” -MotoBlobber HAHAHA
Had a blast riding with you as always, sooo fun! Thank you for the semplang content 😝😝
this is so nice, and i love your soundtrack
Thanks!! Glad you enjoyed it.
I like how simpler motorbikes just breezed past and heavy big bore ADVs just struggled. Lol
It looks so fun. I really love all the bikes and following your journey. You might not remember me but I commented on one of your Kymco rides awhile back. I have a Kymco Like but last week purchased a brand new RE Meteor 350!!! I Love the RE bikes - all of them. I wish you more adventures in the future. Laying down a bike can really shake you up. I’ve done it in the past and snapped my front break lever.
Crossing that bridge was awesome 😎
Congrats on the new bike!! That’s a really nice one, enjoy!! Thanks for chiming in :)
Amazing vid again! with them spills and river crossings looks like the bikes held up well ... thanks for posting vids like this im amazed with how many hidden gems the PI has & translations on the vid made it even better.. this one goes on my favorite list for sure!
Thanks for watching as always! Yes glad you appreciate the subtitles, I realize it really helps even for small moments so my international audience can catch everything 😊
That man with a scooty is an absolute legend.
haha doing things as only the locals can do!
haha kahit sa bike tulak rin ako jan, pero ang lupet ng mga local ahaha
Nice to revisit this trip through this vlog. Hands down one of your best moto vlogs thus far. Really wanna go back!! PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON
Thank you for inspiring us Kuya Martin!!!! 😁😁 “Sempluhng!”
I live in nz and own a Himalayan. Your country is beautiful as nz. Video looks stunning. Cheers
Wow what a place to live with that bike! Thank you for the kind words 🙏🏽
If any chance coming here join me for epic journey
very good content! that was an epic ride
I hope you gave your guide a big tip!!! Hahahaa awesome vid but more importantly awesome camaraderie and riding. Balikan nyo, sisiw na yN sa inyo :-)
Hehe yes, sagot din ni Amica lahat 😁😁 Thanks for watching! Unti unti practice baka makasabay na kami sa inyo 😆
More vids from you plssss.. 🙂I'm also planning to get an Interceptor next year. Great adventure, RS!
Thanks so much man!!
Great video and adventure! Love you content and your country is amazing! Just got to you looking for some info about the interceptor. I’m planning to get one soon, just to enjoy the ride. I’ve been racing and riding dirt bikes since I was a teenager. On the sand, just be a little more aggressive on the gas and you won’t struggle and will avoid crashing! Greetings from Uruguay
Awesome man, so cool you found me! Thanks for the kind words and the tip! Enjoy the ride brother
Great vid! Very stressful but great! Haha! And yes to the dual sport tires!! Sarap no??
Thanks for watching Djam!!! Haha super impressed with the dual sport tires, so much better overall. Lots more fun 😄
I came here for the interceptor. BTW i spent 5 years in the Philippines, love from india
Thanks for coming by! Glad you were able to experience the country!
That guy in the small scoot lookslike he's just strolling in the park
Hahahaha exactly
Your channel makes me more and more inclined to get me an Interceptor! Good content!
Thanks man! Still loving mine, no urges to "upgrade" (just add, hehe)
fell down a few times as well, on the way to New Zealand 😅
Never missed leg day from that day forward
mahirap nga raw talaga yang papuntang NZ :P
lufet ni manong guide na naka-yellow on the scooter, walang sinabi mga naka big bike sa kanya, lol
Hahaha sakly
deym! pati ako napapasigaw din! haha what an adventure! and ang ganda rin ng video quality!
Ahahaha!! Salamat :)
Sir aaron, do u think the husqy 401 can do well (or easy) here too?
Easily!!
The poo broke her fall 🤮😀
hahahahahaha
Thank you adventure heroes, your country is wonderful and I liked the rivers, valleys, nature and the people also were kind and friendly. I hope to visit your country on my motorbike soon.
I hope to see you then brother! Thanks for all your kind comments.
I love the shirt that you are wearing. Where can I find it? Pls reply me
It's from Structmoto.com! Not sure if they deliver internationally but you can ask
Ouch! Pretty hard work on two wheels! (Big respect to those riders that compete in the Dakar rallies..) That terrain looks beautiful but I think I would need a quad bike to get across that loose sand! You all did so well and I applaud you! 👏🙏
Insane to think the speeds the Dakar racers go at in this kind of terrain! Thank you ☺️
Great content Man.
Unlike your other vids which is very relaxing, this gave me a hell lot of stress!! Hahahaha JK very good content! What an adventure!!
Ahahaha thanks for watching pa rin 😆😆
What an epic ride! Beautiful everything. More vids and more power ✊ 🏍️
So cool! That shot where you're riding across the bridge should be the thumbnail!
That was an awesome ride with the Interceptor 650
Great adventure. Is that the same route for cars? Planning to visit the place sometime this month.
The routes diverge before the bridge then converge again before the end. Car route much easier hehe
@@Ride_XP ohhh niiice. Thanks for the info sir. Will definitely visit the place on four wheels first. Then revisit it on a motorcycle (that is once I get my own motorcycle and learn how to ride it LOL).
I think if I try adv riding might go out on an organised thing first but as am probably just doing slow riding on the meteor etc will see maybe in a yr or so after test...
But it looks super fun with friends and the scenery etc! Think the Interceptor did well.
Saya!
Wow! I don't have enough words to say how much I loved this video! i wish I rode with you and your friends! This is why we are riding for! An the most important thing that you've done is proving one more time that people don't need big ADV motorcycle for having fun! Thanks a lot and God blees all your rides!
Amen to that! It’s so much fun to take bikes where they don’t belong with a group that has a can-do spirit 😄 Of course we were all dead by the time we had lunch ahahaha
@@Ride_XP Well, a cold one would have been a nicer reward for all your struggles but you have successfuly replaced it with that milk shake! You did a great job, my friend!
Video kollam, vandi kollam, sthalam kollam pakshe ivaningane pedich pedich vandiyodikunnath mathram kanan oru rasamilla 😉
solid! kept smiling while watching the whole video :) Keep it up and ride safe you guys! would you know what tires yung gamit ng xsr700? :)
Thanks! Glad you liked it. 🙏🏽 Stock tires! Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp hahaha
@@Ride_XP got it! thank you!
@@Ride_XP stock tires pala! my god, kala ko pirelli scorpion
@@ralpharaza619 hahaha yeppp. Naka Scorpion Trail na siya now pero diyan hindi.
GS far from Starbucks 🤣. Great vlog as always!
Hahaha thanks Tobs!! Very far indeed 😁
Off roading tip sir aaron, lower the tire pressure around 23-25 on sandy terrain para d gegewang yung motor nyo hehehehehe
Moral of video - buy a scooter. Scoooter guy was MVP.
big bikes are not good on those muddy terrains.
Hi bro
I know this ride is maybe a few months old - it looks so much fun and a good learning experience.
Would it help if they deflate their tires a bit for better traction?
Thanks!! I’ll try that. Was definitely timid on the throttle!
Sobrang ganda sir! Kaya kaya ng adv 150 yan. May ganyang lugar pala sa zambales
Kaya rin kaya sir ng sedan?
Kaya siguro yan. yun tour guide nga naka scooter eh hehehe
13:30 why release the clutch? half clutch would be useful.
Vespa naman next hahaha! Great vid, was literally holding my breath everytime your handlebar starts to wobble 😅
Ahahaha thanks for watching!! Vespadventures soon 😄😄😄
Awesome ride! That bridge shot solid! Did you have a local tour guide? Details for that please! Planning to do this soon!
Thank you! Yes!

Mention you were referred by Amica hehe
The burbling sound of the 270 degree parallel twin is an eargasm...🙂
A man of taste you are 😉
Dapat eto ang mga motovloggers ang nakakakuha ng views and supports eh! parang movie kapag nanuod ka, Great job sir Aaron!
Maraming salamat bro!!!
Great video & the views of the lake & surroundings make it all worth while glad to see the Interceptor never fell 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yes!! :)
Man! What a beautiful place!!
I was screaming to you to roll the throttle and pass the soft sand easily!! hahaha
Don't be afraid to throttle, the sand is soft when you fall! Put your weight to the rear and go!
Can't wait to get my Interceptor too!! Greetings from Brazil!!
Hahaha as I have been told many times brother 😆 Will definitely go back! Come back and let me know when you get your INT! 😄
First ‼️ Nice vlog as always‼️Semplang all the way!
Yess! Total semplang count: 20+ 😂😂
Your videos are so fun and genuine ❤️ I'd love to watch more and more❤️ keep up the good work man!
Thank you!!
i wanna watch this vid, but also wanna discover it myself! i'll save to my watch later! that being said, i can tell from the first 5min it must have been an amazing ride! thanks for your vids!
Hehe yes! I think the Svart would be super fun to ride here!
@@Ride_XP if you guys can do it i can do it.👊 thanks for the inspiration and regards to my man crush martin 😂
the metal bridge also known as THE PORTAL
Haha and rightly so!!!
I kept wanting to grab the clucth lever watching you ride and listening to the bike.. 😅.. Great fun though.. Will save up money to transform my Interceptor into a scrambler too
Ahahaha yeah I was trying really hard not to burn the clutch as we were warned this trail is notorious for it!
Oh yeah...
Napansin ko lang yung way nang pag tayo ng bikes, baka po kasi mag ka injury. Much better from behind na parang lpush using legs strength Po. Hope to ride with you guys
Yup I know. Ginagawa ko lang paharap kasi marami kaming bumubuhat :)
Nice Video! was the MUX in the video a 4x2 or a 4x4?
4x2 lang! :)
It was dam good experience and what a wonderful place to chill out 👏👏
Absolutely!
Thanks for sharing such a good time with your friends!
😄🙏🏽
Epic bridge shot!
Nice ride! been following and watching your videos because I'm interested owning a Royal Enfield Himalayan. Sir since you own one before, ano po best record niyo sa fuel consumption when riding in expressways?
Salamat! Sa totoo lang ambaba ng fuel economy ko sa Hima sa highway kasi lagi akong full throttle to maintain 120-130. Pero at 90-100 kaya niyan ng 30km/l pataas
@@Ride_XP Tipid pala talaga sir. Excited na ko! Salamat sir and you deserve more subs :D Ride safe!
Great story telling and no background music to cover up the sweet sound of those REs. Rad adventure as always, thank you for towing us along with you!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
tara na ba
Great vid. New subscriber here :)
Thank you :)
Lovet!
Salamat idol!!
13:31 bakit walang clutch control?
I was warned to avoid slipping the clutch, baka masunog kasi puro deep sand. Daming big bikes nasusunugan ng clutch doon eh.
I wonder if a National Cycle Plexi fairing or plexi star windshield will fit on the interceptor? I have had those on 3 of my bikes here in Michigan US.
Worth a try! Looks like it’d be awesome for touring
@@Ride_XP yes.. Remove if not on the highway much.. They are ugly but really help in long trips 😁
@@kevinnashskitchen3517 haha exactly!
@@Ride_XP lol.. I just like windshields no matter how ugly 😁
