Anyway, this one is the pre-release version. I downloaded this version from their website myself long before the official album release. And guess what? When I bought the album on CD in summer 1999, I was disappointed with the album version. Yes, the original official version wasn't as good as the pre-release from the very first CD release and now I'm happy to find this precious pre-release "demo" here on UA-cam. By the way, there is a difference how Anders Friden says the word "touch" in "as the pain grows with each touch"; pre-release version it's just simple and quiet "touch", official version - stretched shriek, kind of "toooaaach!" 0:44
This demo song is the very first In Flames song I listened to. Glad I found it.
Ah finally. So it is the demo version that is superior to the release!
Downloaded this for the first time in 98 or 99 before Colony was released.
pretty cool hearing it again.
Wow 7 years later I am back researching again and found myself.
@@TheJonathanDale This also happens to me ahahhah. Cheers mate 😂
Do you still have it by any chance?
Best version of the song IMO
Where did this demo song come from? Was it originally on a compilation CD or something like that?
I discovered In Flames around 1998 or so and this was offered for download on their website at the time if I recall correctly.
Any chance to get this version any where now?
Vocals here are better. They're more energetic.
I am always confused when I don't hear "Let's Go!" because I listened to this version so many times.
This is not demo. It is the original version. The one we hear now is the remastered that is done 10 years later
