I happened to go to the bathroom (tried wating, so long), and missed the speech, about no handshakes. Ok, well Mr. Palmer, YOU missed out on shaking MY hand. One of your BIGGEST fans! Saw y'all in Boston, in 1977 or 1978. Rocked my WORLD! ANYway, have a nice day!
@@AtropalArbaal-dk8jv Fifty eh? Go for it. I did begin by making it clear that this was MY opinion. I think we are all entitled to make our own judgements.
What a drummer! No wonder he is considered the most accurate live drummer in the world. Just remember the "Pictures at an Exhibition" concert, which was checked with the actual metronome. Unreal.
Naha neighbors I want to Anaheim convention center 1976 welcome back my friends to the show that I never end Carl Palmer awesome drummer now here's the catch on this stage that is not Greg lake that is not Keith Emerson and yes it is Carl Palmer a whole different program anybody want to make a bet did this video they're not playing quadrasonic noir surround sound the young musicians will never understand about Emerson lake and Palmer Brain salad surgery. 🥁😎👍
@AtropalArbaal-dk8jv Bill is another one of my all-time favorites. Each of these drummers were best in class for their respective styles of music. I love Bill Ward, Neil Peart, Carl Palmer, Ian Paice and Buddy Rich.

Amazing Carl Palmer!! His music and dedication to his craft will always be remembered!
What's the old saying, the older you get the better, well let me tell you, Carl still got it, one of the best all time drummers.
Love it! Carl is a legend!
Ouch Old Man, Ya' Still Got It Daddy-O.
Someone please bubble-wrap Carl Palmer. He is all we have left of the ELP legacy. What a performance.
Brilliant skills! Great show too. He’s still got it.
DAAAAaaaaamn! I was an ELP fan as a kid, loved his work with Asia, but this is the first time I've seem a solo. AMAZING!
We’ve seen him play live several times. So accurate. I think he’s like an nth degree Black Belt
Carl took some cues from the Great One. He nails Buddy Rich’s stick tricks.
I noticed that and a few homages to Buddy Rich, just incredible!!
Ward and Palmer were the best rock drummers of the 1960s.
Carl is in a class all of his own. I kept hearing elements of Krupa and Bellson and a musicality that few could match let alone beat.
A lot of Buddy Rich in there too
The man is a monster on the skins
Great recording! Love it, was at Buffalo “opening” night
Very cool!
For my money, this is the ONLY man who stands up to comparison with Buddy Rich.
I prefer Bill Ward. Listen to Rat Salad.
I can name fifty drummers in the past thirty years that smoke both of them.

A bold statement.. Yet correct
All the people who praise John Bonham, never heard of Carl Palmer.
Stamina galore!

Rat Salad>everything Palmer did.
You need to take a nap, boomer. Google Pedro Sandoval, Gene Hoglan, and Derek Roddy.
vus au palais des sports de paris en 1971 ou 1972, je ne sais plus très bien, le concert fut phénoménal!!!
He is still one of the greatest drummers in the world. At his age he should be sucking up he sun in the Mediterranean.
This isn’t ELP ? It’s Carl Palmer.
Hence the title, bro. 🤷
The Master!!!

Ha...his bass drum head logos are the same as the brand Cosmic Percussion. Almost exactly.
A real pain...
One of the great drummers of all time. Still think Neal Peart has him beat
Ginger Baker was a great drummer too
And they BOTH (Carl & Neal) had admiration for Buddy and incorporated some of his chops in their respective playing.
Bill Ward smoked Neil Peart.

Carl put up alot of people's poop!!
Bruford for my money.
2 different type of drummers.
Drumming is an artform not a sporting event, you don't pick a team....lol.
Barrie Barlow is worth mentioning, too.
Carl Palmer has always been one of the greatest, and he seems to still be improving, as this video shows.
This was very good but it was nowhere near Neil Peart level.
Just enjoy it for what it is, bro. We’re not measuring dicks here. This is art. Vibe on it. Mello. ☮️
Every bit as good as Peart. And I'm a Peart fan. They have different styles. Is music a sporting event?
PUT THERE STYLES AND MUSIC ASIDE, CARL PALMER HAS FAR BETTER CHOPS.
I believe Peart stole some of his moves
Looks like Peart stole some of his moves.
Bonham and Peart did it better.
Bonham for the win....
@@Ronald-c5s Nah, Neil was the Professor , Bonham was # 1 student.
@@jpcad7954 Bonham was before Peart........
Led Zeppelin was inspirational to Rush.......
@@Ronald-c5s I know that Led Zeppelin was before Rush but Neil was better then John, plain and simple.
