You touched on something most buyers overlook - dealer proximity and support - when making a tractor buying decision. I’ve owned 2, 3, 4HD and 5E Series JD tractors. Because the E Series have increased in price double digits the past four years - I’m advocating that JD drop the E Series, and make the M Series the entry level tractor to coincide tractor features/value for inflated price point.

Nice tractor I have a 5055E JD I almost traded it in for a 5075E this yr but I’m going to wait until next yr to do it. I’m going to get a open cab one. I’m interested in seeing the planting implement
Have you pushed the lift capacity on the loader? I’m considering this tractor and I need to be able to carry around 3500 pounds and lift it at least 2 feet off the ground on pallet forks
I have not tried to move a heavy weight with the loader. The most I have moved is a bucket full of dirt or compost, which it handles just fine. My first reaction is that I don't think the front tires are rated for 1.75 tons.
@@yellowdogfarm with the self leveling loader the tractor is rated to lift 3500 to full height and 4300 an inch of the ground The problem with specs is that they are measured at the bucket pin rather than 4 feet forward at the end of the forks Typically that capacity is meant to lift two 1500 pounds round bales at a time. Best of luck with your purchase. I am in the market for a tractor and personally I think Kubota may not be as "nice" it is a more durable machine. I noticed you did not have any serious fault of the Kubota and I hope you will not have any issues with the JD either.!!!
We were very happy with our Kubota. At the end of the day we went with a Deere as there is a dealer just 15 minutes away. The Kubota dealer was an hour away.
Are you able to measure from the rear of the 3pt arms to the front of the bucket? I am wanting to buy a 5075e but I want to see the overall length and none of my dealers have any in to measure!
Have one of those myself. Love it. "E" is the economy trim level, "M" (for middle if you will) is the next level up, and "R" is the top trim level.
