That Analogue Pocket transparent edition was immediately sold out. I know this because I was waiting there at 16:00 o'clock UK time, when the webshop opened. I was there the second it opened, and started putting through an order. I was faced with an incredible amount of captcha bot filtering puzzles (circle the planes on the picture, cats on the picture etc etc, many times it wasn't even obvious for me as a human what to actually circle, and there must have been like 15-20 of these puzzles). Then after I somehow managed to get through all this nonsense, I was put in a queue. Then after like 5-6 minutes I was told that I can start checking out. Great, I am going along, filling out my details...then the f***ing thing says item out of stock before I could finish. WHAT THE ACTUAL F***?!?!?!?!?! I was there the second it opened up, I wasted no time, I was put through jumping through hoops, I was made to wait, then nothing.
Seriously in hindsight I am actually so glad I wasn't able to buy one. First of all I am broke (I really don't know what I was thinking, paying £250 for something like this, my DSi XL is able to emulate game boy and gba games perfectly well), and second I would never support a company like this, who treats their customers like absolute clowns. Never going to buy anything from them, no matter what great products they might come up with. F them.
An epic and ultimately tragic tale. But I agree ultimately - I got one of the original models and I barely use it...
The "hidden gems" was a nice surprise for me on Switch even though none of the games are particularly great, I never expected to be playing Gilligan's Gold of all things on a Switch.
When I saw the email about it I was shocked yet delighted

this years Quake 2 remaster was great, I got a free update because I'd bought it from Steam a while back. Dark Forces remaster coming soon too so I hear!

This is remasters of the whole original trilogy, not just the first
If you had to get a permanent tattoo on your body depicting _the title_ of one of the games mentioned in this video, which one would you choose? _Solomon's Key_ is a safe bet: the vast majority of people would never even guess it was a video game. On the other hand, _Bomb Sweeper_ would be quite daring…
_"Wink and the broken robot"…_ another evocative option…
I think 'Hell Beneath' placed somewhere quite specific could be very effective tbh
