This is Gold. I never thought UA-cam can be a good ressource for this and this is really good. Thanks for doing your best in creating this content and giving it to the world for free.

Majestic. Wow! Thank you! These videos just keep getting better, in a sense themselves reflecting the dynamic beauty of ma. Having no beginning and no end resonates for me to describe ma. I have more difficulty with the word “meaning” … ma can be appreciated without attribution of meaning.

Wow, thank you! Yeah, its so simple but what makes ma so difficult to talk about is that it is so multi-faceted. thanks for watching :-)

Im looking at a shakuhachi by Shozan Inoue. Is this acceptable for a first bamboo flute (as far as the maker and quality)?

Yes as long as it’s not a reproduction or copy. He recently passed away. A fine maker indeed ❤

The irony here, is that this presentation on the concept of Ma doesn’t contain or utilize Ma. It’s fast, monotonous, non-stop talking. Additionally, highlighting some examples of Ma in music, without being spoken over, would have been appreciated.
