- I got word on Friday that there were 5 Ex-KCS SD70MACs on the Interchange track between CPR and NS in Barnesville, Ga. I knew CPR usually ran on Saturday mornings, so I decided to try my luck and see if they moved them on Saturday. When I arrived in Barnesville, the train had not arrived yet. I drove west on Highway 36 until I found them coming east with 4 loaded centerbeams. Once they reached Barnesville, they picked up the locomotives and headed back west. I've been wanting to chase this line for years, and I finally did it yesterday. CPR has been operating the line since 2016.

NS. There were pine trees growing 8-10 feet tall on some of the tracks next to the mill before CPR came in and cleared it all out
