4 x 0.12 using traditional method

How can we multiply a whole number by a decimal using the traditional method of multiplication? Take a look.
Remember: Decimals do NOT move even though most textbooks say they do. Numbers move and get larger by shifting to the left and moving to larger place values.
It might look like a decimal moves, but they don't. Just numbers move to larger place values when multiplying whole numbers larger than 1 by a decimal.
