I am worried Qatar would get more and more expensive. It would be no different than Canada in terms of cost of living
What about in terms of safety?
There are many issues in any country. I feel safe in Canada. But there are other issues for sure here. My main concern is that I found some things expensive example clothes. Also restaurants

I was there in 2020 and grocery prices were similar to London. With relations improving with Saudi Arabia and Dubai, hopefully the costs have reduced.
i was there for a day as a layover it was okay i was returning from Switzerland so i guess maybe that's why i didn't really enjoy my time there
