No one mentioning how much of a loss Barney was. He’s one of those players that senses danger and gets in good positions to make blocks and close down the space. Big loss in defence today, would’ve made the difference.

I love Theo, his dribbling is great and everything but he’s so lazy off the ball. And he’s been getting caught on the ball a lot recently. Still, we move on to the next game. I believe you’ll get back to winning ways soon

Honestly Theo, more than anything else, lost them this game. He has great feet but his lack of intensity and work rate makes him a liability most of the time.
Theo is the kind of player I hate to have in my team. Much rather have someone that is not half as good on the ball but gives it their all, runs the whole game, gets back and presses than a guy that can dribble a guy or two but then is utterly inconsequential. Of course, at the end of the day, it's just a group of friends playing some football and it's all for fun and entertainment so there's really nothing lost.
I've been saying this ever since I started following 5 guys.. like cacho100uva said above me, although he seems to have flair, he is an absolute nightmare to play with. Simply thinks he is much better than he is and on a further negative note these past few games his effort has been lacking as well!

Milo’s chat at the end was spot on, you can’t use the ref as fire to justify the result. It was basics, and they got in our heads. Work rate, diving in to challenges and moving the ball quicker are all lessons that we KNOW you will bounce back from 💜
The ref was on point regarding the pen. In the last vid, I mentioned that Theo takes unnecessary risks and he’s managed to do it again!

unfortunately both were pens, keeper can't come out of the box at all even on follow throughs. Missing Ryan in the centre bossing things and big man Callum with that left footed wand
u literally said what i was thinking, both were stone cold penalties however on a different day with a different ref that could of slid. Ryan is deffo missing too

Theo was not trying, did not care about winning. He just looked like he wanted some cool 1v1 plays then pass it off for the team to do the work. He didn’t take a shot, didn’t defend. Just went for some skill moves.

Match Day 3 Stats
Louis: 6.0
Some questionable calls from the referee, especially for their 2nd penalty. But nevertheless, only registered 3 saves out of 6. But in hindsight, 2 were penalties so can't really fault him for those. Did what he could when it mattered and that's all you can ask from your GK.
Stan: 5.5
As this is his first appearance to the new season, mistakes were inevitably made. Only 1 shot on target to show for him. 2 passes completed and 1 key chance created. Bit of a dead performance, but looking forward to seeing him get back to his goal scoring ways because this guy is a threat in front of net, as we all know.
Gravz: 6.0
Not up to the standards expected of him. Completed 5 out of his 6 passes and had a 100% dribble success rate, but at this point its nothing new to him. He'll always be a danger man, what I love to see is his chance creation for the team. Which unfortunately he lacked today. 3 shots on target with 0 goals to show. No key chances created and overall spent way too much time on the ball for me. His strengths lie in his speed. Should've completed more quick passes, quick runs on and off the ball. Was just a bit too quiet and didn't risk much today.
Milo: 9.0 (MOTM)
The embodiment of the great Leo Messi. Small stature brings very little intimidation for the opposing end, nobody takes this guy serious when seeing him on the pitch warming up. But man, once the kick off begins, he displays some wondrous moments that leave you speechless. 3 goals and an assist, an absolute beautiful solo run as well, beating 3 defenders and slotting a perfectly placed shot through the keeper to complete his first hat trick to the new season. And its not even just from an attacking stand point, Milo even managed to track 1 foul and completed 2 tackles. The 2nd most out of the team. He created 2 key chances and converted 3 out of 4 of his shots. What a player man. Easiest man of the match performance yet.
Adrian: 8.5
The scoreline does this man no justice for his performance today. Good to see him back on track again after a disastrous performance in MD2. This guy was EVERYWHERE, an absolute engine. 1 goal and 1 assist to show for the work rate he left on the pitch. He completed the most passes (8) with a 100% conversion rate. He also completed the most dribbles (7) out of anybody else on the team. With the likes of Milo, Gravs, and Theo alongside him, beating them on most dribbles is definitely an accomplishment on its own. Now every good comes with a bad, he was dispossessed 3 times. Once in his own final 3rd which inevitably lead to a penalty and twice in the midfield. But I personally believe the character he displayed today makes up for it. 4 shots on target out of 5 and completed 2 blocks and 1 tackle. When this guy is in his head space, he unbelievable on the pitch. Way to bounce back from MD2.
Theo: 5.0
Theo possesses so much natural born talent. Its just a shame that his work rate doesn't match up to his foot skills. There were moments where everyone seemed to be running to cover an angle, or working to dispossess an opponent and this man is just walking.. For me, no excuse to show your own team how little you care to play. He could be so much better than he is right now if he'd just put in some work rate. 5 out of 5 passes completed along with 1 dribble. Dispossessed twice and registered an astounding 0 tackles. Which ultimately means someone else had to clean up his mess. Im a big fan when he tries, but lately seems careless or in his own world sometimes. Hope things get better with him.
Lats: 8.0
Only his 2nd match as a 5IVEGUYS player and I see no reason that he can't be a fan favorite already. Its great to see so many comments about his mentality and the fight he brings. Completed the most interceptions for the team (3) Most fouls tracked (2) Most tackles made (3) Unfortunately lost out on 2 easy tackles which both lead to the opposition scoring. The only critique I can give this man, is just clean up his game a little. But really the goods completely out weigh the bads with this guy. Well done and well played.

Honestly ref had a great game. Keeper's foot was a couple inches outside the area, and the ball was kicked close quarters at a player who's arm was in a natural position by his side.

Been a big fan of Stan for long. 🔥 didn't see much of him today but we all know he's got it in him - he's a Unit yet can move the ball like nothing and deadly finisher when he's feelin it 💪
The menality has never been worse, half the team are complacent, not moving for one another, and not pressuring/chasing enough on defense. Honestly getting annoying seing Theo slacking around on the field. He's got the skills but lacks the drive. Stan and Adrian are also too quiet, and Milo runs for all 3 of them.
It just doesn't work playing like this with teams who actually wants to win, which seems to be everyone in this league. These guys were not better, but they showed more energy and teamwork.
Mental up and fighting for each other = wins.
