Great video i did have to laugh because this video was recommended after I watched your video from a few years ago where you talked about people buying or building a bike with too much power. Keep it up. Picking up my 2024 CVO ST this weekend.
Hahaha that's awesome! I went against my own rule recently and built a giant motor with stock brakes and suspension. It's hard not to want that power even when you don't need it. I appreciate the support Kev. You're going to love that thing. I wasn't kidding when I said it's the best Harley I've ridden and I've ridden them ALL haha.
My 2018 CVO Ltd streetglide felt like a tank compared to the CVO ST. The factory truck/ dealership road test sold me. I purchased the Black Raven. Added TAB performance exhaust, a Bad Boyz extended two up seat.(still waiting on delivery after two months ago purchase). Heal shifter, rear passenger pegs, and rear cylinder air deflectors. I enjoy my purchase. I miss the tour pack, heated seats and grips. Be prepared to spend an additional 2,500 to 3,000 grand. Or just leave it stock, or try! The stock windscreen looks good, and that's about it. Need to find a higher 2" replacement!
I come from a sportbike background. Thr CVO RG ST is the closest to riding GSX R 1000s and R1s on the track that I have seen from a Harley...You can ride it really fast in the turns and you won't realuze how fast you are going...Thanks Blair, Cam, Stacy, and Chris at Timm's for making part 1 of my vision come to reality..Robert, not Roger..lol
I did the 135kit on my CVO and the 121 air cleaner limits it slightly, with the bigger extereme elite air cleaner it dyno'd 158hp and 160 torque. As far as building a RG up, the inverted forks will set you back 8k alone.
Hey D, I was told that my 121 air breather would not fit on the 135 crate engine from my dealer Because the 135 had a bigger throttle body. Your thoughts? Thanks
As you say it depends on what you do whether you would save money with a regular road glide and building it out, I think that CVO ST stock is going to make a lot of folks happy as is and for many I think just change seat and bars to fit you and you’re off. Many change seat and bars no matter what they buy so not sure I’d even count that. Would be tough to buy a standard road glide and build it to something similar to that and end up with the same total spent.
Absolutely beautiful bike beautiful build. Congrats on your friend. I personally have the white one getting a stage two just a quick question. What riding mode are you in when you’re riding it.. I guess the 135 just enhances the modes..
Has he replaced the transmission yet? I remember when several people did the 131 upgrade and they went out and they got on it really nice and hard they would rip the second and third gear right out of the transmission. So that he can replace it with one of the Baker Drive trains.
He hasn't. I believe you but we have done a good many of these with no issues yet thankfully. On the M8 group on Facebook a lot of guys are blowing the Baker. I have no experience with them but I always thought they were unbreakable. Then again as we know the rider has the most to do with that. Guys out here trying to do full throttle no clutch shifts lol.
IMHO the CVOST is the holy grail for the 24 model year! I own the exact copy. How did you get the 121 air breather to mount to the 135 crate engine? This is the only thing holding me up from dropping the crate motor in. Thanks
Be nice to see some numbers 0-60, eighth mile, quarter mile. On how fast these 150hp bikes are. Everyone says yeah they're powerful and such. They do cool burnouts, wheelies, etc. How fast is this making these Harleys? Can it keep up with this or that now?
Shouldve removed or changed the 121 badge on the breather if the 135 batch was gonna be on the cam cover. Also, if it was tuned by harley its still governed and not opened fully up.
I keep hearing guys like this saying the wheels coming up but the footage never shows it. I guess this guy mistook the shocks rebound for a wheel lift. Oh well, that’s UA-cam for ya
What is the fascination with cubic inches? For half the price you can just buy a Yamaha MT 10 that’ll kick that Harley‘s ass in EVERY category. I mean, if you want the exhilaration of acceleration and power, Harley is not the answer. If you’re into your Harley because it’s a Harley, OK! That’s fine. But you don’t need 135 in.³.
I hear what you're saying, I do. But there is something about going fast on something that wasn't designed to be fast. Or just adding power to something in general. Just like an old muscle car, you can easily buy a modern car that goes faster, stops on a dime, and handles like a dream for less than you'd have in the muscle car. But it's just different... You're right, you don't need it, which kind of makes it that much more fun. Then again my daily driver pickup is 700hp and gets 10mpg so maybe I just look at things different than most.
Nobody wants a Japanese bike if they can’t own a Harley Davidson!! You must not be a proud American 🇺🇸!! We love ❤️ 💗 ❤ the rumble, the torque and power on a street/ touring bike!! Resale value is always a plus. I’ve owned a Japanese bike went too sale it , it was more profitable to just give it away to a family member, because it would have been a 60% loss . Only had 900 miles on it.

Got the 135 in my bike with an impact ecu, made 170whp and 163wtq. And I got rid of the speed limiter which the SE tuner don't do.
I would love to see a Fast Johnny in Black and Diablo Red 2 tone version. Bike sounds amazing!!
The thunderhead sounds great as usual

My favorite new Harley-Davidson for sure
Gonna be hard to top this one..

Super nice bike man. Can't decide on colour?. Maybe white... Just 🤘
Awesome bike. Thanks for the video
My 131 build was enough for me , that should be a blast

@@carminecalucciCVO It'll fit, but there is a difference in the plenum size and it will restrict air flow.
I have the 135 on my cvo, the bigger breather, and impact ecu, I made 170whp and 163wtq. Plus no speed limiter.
That's crazy! My twin cam makes 90hp, and that took a couple grand. Lol
@@carminecalucciCVO It will fit, but there is about a 12mm difference in the actual lumen diameter between the breather and throttle body
Nice video keep up the good work

Honestly the CVO/ST should come standard with a 131 for the price they are demanding from Harley..
I'd have to agree. Especially now that they have a 135 option. HD never gives you the biggest they offer but the 131 would be fair game now.
Always gonna get linear power with a long thunderheader
Ugly as hell but never get a torque dip i will give them that
Awesome bike
I don 't like the looks of the two into one pipes but I sure do like the sound.
Build video... would love to see the comparison.
Nice bike👍👍
I do not believe that you could build one for less money, but you could get exactly what you want
Absolutely beautiful bike beautiful build. Congrats on your friend. I personally have the white one getting a stage two just a quick question. What riding mode are you in when you’re riding it.. I guess the 135 just enhances the modes..
I have a stock 24 CVOST and I get vibration seems to be standard. Had I rode the bike before I bought it I’ll probably would’ve had second thoughts.
On forums, a standard metal front fender resolves the issue

Will we see a trike with a 135
Does this 135 crate come VVT or non-VVT? Great video.

Impossible to decide
Nice bike………..why no badging on air cleaner 135 just wondering ?? H/D
I have a2020 RKS 131
Nice! Did you put your own kit together or go with the crate motor?
The owner should take the forged Carbon parts to a paint shop and get the parts glossed…
For a bike like this that makes sense but the purists say you never coat carbon fiber because you're going backwards with weight savings.

Too much money
Only for those, who cant afford. There are enough out there, who can.

It’s like comparing a jdm car to an American muscle car. Yes both are “fast” but the power delivery is just flat out different.
I bought a boat instead of a Harley this summer, paid cash, and I have no regrets!!!! HD bikes are way to $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Got the Raven
I bet my cbr300r can beat it.
One way to find out. 💵🏁
