I am so glad that I came across your channel late last year. Because of your videos, I managed to close my personal loan in December and last month I closed my clothing account. I am now able to budget and save for whatever it is that I wish to buy, you have completely changed my financial perspective. Thank you❤❤❤
Hi Jen . Thank you so much for this content . Evertime I listen to you I think differently. I wanted to change my car so bad , it's old but driveable. I did all the paper work with the bank and they approved me don't forget I am still paying for another car which I will finish paying in May. After this content I have decided I am not buying a new car before I finish paying for the other one. After that I need to save 3- 6 months that same amount that was going to the car. That will be my deposit for a new car. Also decided that the only debts I will live with is housing and vehicle finance. Thanks again Jen.
Hehehe the similarities alakulevideo nempilo yami inqwaba🤣🤣. I always say, if you have never robbed Peter to pay Paul you are truly blessed. I also thank God that my credit score was never affected because I was "paying" every month ( but now I'm singing the song "no more turning back"). The road less traveled is the way to go sis, and it will not make sense to most people, but stick to your goal. I live by that, noma ngingahamba ngedwa it is fine. Thank you for sharing this with us sis, great content as usual ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you.Jenn for yet another life changing video..the part about the car gave me goosebumps. If you dont mind sharing other ways that one can use to hire a car without a credit card...this is the only reason I am tempted to open a credit card again.
New Subbie here. I have been referred to your Channel by a colleague who is also a friend. She showed me the correct way of doing a monthly budget and importance of doing it every month. I have been doing it all wrong and I was not consistent. I relate to this story so much and learning a lot. Thanks Sisi for all the advices. I love your Content❤️
Hi! Amanda and thank you to your colleague for spreading the word, I love it when in our work spaces we openly talk about money because that is where we learn. Welcome to the family ❤️🥰
Thank you so much for sharing. I really want to take myself out of debt and have decided to cut off a lot of things to settle all my debt. Living pay check to pay check and having to borrow is not nice. This video has just given me motivation to work hard to change my finances and make better financial decisions.
Still on a debt free journey Closed off one credit card and left with +- 9000 to go on the second one. I struggle with mindset and sometimes almost fall back into bad habits.
That is great progress Anelisa, the most important thing is knowing what you struggle with, it helps because you know your fight. The journey of paying off debt is not easy, pat yourself in the back for your progress.
@@JennNxumalo thank you Jen and thank you for starting this channel, yes there are many other spurces of financial information but not many resonate with our circumstances♥️♥️

Sis Jenn, thank you so much for sharing. I am currently in the process of paying off my debts. I made a mistake of taking a loan for building at home, now it is too much for me.
Hi Jenn, thank you so much for these video's. They really encourage me to continue being on this journey of being debt free even though I'm told that I am aggressive with my approach of paying off debt but it makes me soo happy to be able to close off accounts and free up my cash flow. I'm really hoping to settle my credit card and access facility before my birthday in September so that I can start enjoying my life. I just need to be disciplined and intentional about my budget then I'll be good to go. I'm definitely choosing to go on the road less travelled.
Hi Jenn, I wonder if you watch the American UA-camr Caleb Hammer. I honestly see you going down a similar route. It would be interesting to have a similar but not exact financial content however in the south african context. On another topic thank you for taking the lead and letting us learn from someone with a similar background as us. I have less than 10K in debt apart from my home loan. If not for me falling and fracturing my ankle early Jan I would be only owing 5K with the other debt settled. My next goal is focusing on savings and investment. But mainly an emergency fund.
I have to go and search Caleb Hammer, I did not recognise the name but I know his content, interesting to get a view of other people’s finances. Saving for the emergency fund will truly help on the unexpected expenses. Sorry about your ankle 🥰💐 I hope it has fully healed.
Yes you can refinance a property, make sure your credit score is good so you can negotiate a lower interest rate than what you are paying. Already a property is an investment ✔️

I am also cutting out sugar. And any addictions.

Hi Jenn
When you maximise your tax free account do you have to withdraw the money or can you leave it so gain interest ?
It’s advisable to leave it and not withdraw it as you only get a maximum of R500k per lifespan.
