I did some secretarial work for Dinah once and she sent me an autographed picture. I still have it on my wall of fame. A nice lady, unpretentious and fun to be with.
She seems like she was truly a sweet lady, unlike most of today's celebrities.
Glad that the color videotapes from the Dinah Shore Chevy Show were preserved.
Not many color tapes from the late 1950s survived.
Groucho’s joy here is infectious. Most of the time in his TV performances, he’d phone it in. Not here. He’s full of energy and chutzpah.
Groucho, pushing 70, is so light on his feet!
Groucho seems to have hit the peak of his singing talents later in life as opposed to earlier.
"Of all the smelt I ever smelt.... I never smelt a smelt like that smelt smelt." God bless Groucho.
I was looking for this clip a long time.I had spotted it and my computer messed up.Once it straightened out I could not find it.But i have now
Cute and funny song... Groucho and Dinah look like they had fun doing it.
And maybe someday... Dinah and George Burns singing I Ain't Got Nobody. I love comic medleys like this one.
Too darn cute!
Wonderful performance by two legends! And in beautiful COLOR to boot! Dinah's Chevy Show really needs to be brought to DVD.. long overdue! Any chance you could post Dinah & George Burns "I Ain't Got Nobody" use to be on youtube long ago. Again thanks!
Robert S. Bader's _Four of the Three Musketeers_ brought me here.

I don't think this song was written by E.Y. "Yip" Harburg. Groucho was born in 1890 and he sang this song for the first time when he was fifteen, which put it at 1905. E.Y. "Yip" Harburg was born in 1898, so I don't think, talented as E.Y. was, that he wrote this at 9 years old.
The song is also not listed among the long list of songs written by E.Y. "Yip" Harburg on the website dedicated to him.
Any one know who actually wrote it?
They don't write 'em like that anymore
She was Jewish and southern. Groucho was charmed
