Jimmy Buffett passing from skin cancer last year was a harsh reminder to me to wear sun block and a hat outdoors.
I also received my first order from Pasteur Pharmacy today. Some great stuff to try out. We will be in Manhattan for Thanksgiving this year and I will be stopping by there for sure. Maybe they will even have some Black Friday deals.

New sub here. I actually work in dermatology as a surgical assistant, at a cancer center. We pretty much do Mohs surgery all day. Glad you’re doing well!

Did you have a graft too? I get frozen and stitched often but this is my first graft
@@kensurfs NO! I had a balloon inserted and expanded before having a good part of my right cheek removed. Total of 3 surgeries. I have a visible scar where my right sideburn should be. What doesn't kill you, you know. The weird thing was the relocating of nerves. Feels weird to touch one place but your face feels it in a different place. Wishing you the best!

You’re so upbeat considering the circumstances. Speedy recovery. Im sure the graft will heal well. I once went to company doc after slicing a big piece of skin from my finger. I cleaned it up and reattached the skin snd bandaged it up. Doc said it won’t work. Well it did work.

How long did it take for your nose to look normal again?
@@kensurfs Hi, it took some time to heal because of the plastic surgery. Maybe one month to heal. During a long time that area loose sensitivity and inside the nose there was an edema that still persists in some degree until today, and it was 5 years ago. It is minor, tough. The scar, as any scar takes time to be unnoticed, but I did apply an ointment based on silicone to help to disguise it. Mine was more on the side, yours is on the tip of the nose, maybe the inside edema wouldn’t be an issue.
It is something we certainly won’t forget.
