To everyone too lazy to search on google for how to download the mp3, you can either copy this video's link and search up a flv to mp3 online converter, then convert it. It's the 21st century, you should know these things.

I'm not sure I'd call it a digression. The better quality enables producers to manipulate the eq more intuitively, and effect it without having to compromise clarity. I don't mind people using Vocaloid for techno or electronica. It just means that they'll be producing better and better work.

and more power to you, but then actual natural human voice are also used in techno or for other genres. The point of them making the voices more natural is not for a specific genre, it's for general quality. Besides being robots, they fit in nicely and can do really well with songs just like this, where they sound very weird in most dubs of songs originally sung by humans.

I actually disagree with this. There are many VOCAtechno songs where the vocals sound clearer then in most pop, rock, folk, etc. songs that I've heard. But, it really all depends on the person using the program and their editing skills. It's not the voice itself, but the person tuning it. Check out 'Gentel Despair' and 'Discrete Pulse' both featuring Hatsune Miku. They're perfect examples of how VOCALOID'S can be properly used in techno songs.
