Can I reuse my old tea candle containers? I bought lots of them but I feel like they don't burn as good, I don't want to throw them away but reuse them.
I want to make these with a group of girls. I’d like to offer them the chance to use different colors. How hard is it to clean the pot between different colors and remelt?
Paraffin loves heat, so 65 is way too low for Paraffin wax and your FO won't bind with the wax at the temp. With paraffin you need to heat up to 80-85 Celsius and pour not lower than 75 Celsius.
Different methods are used for different candlemakers. Always do what works best for you but do be cautious of the flash point of the fragrance as exceeding this temperature when adding your fragrance may lead to a lesser scented candle.
@@alikemalcetinkaya8994 Hello Ali - the wicks we used were these ones: www.cosyowl.com/candle-wicks/tealight-wick-tl15 which are designed specifically for tea lights, so we didn't need to.
Beautiful
Thank you!

For personal use, these could be reused but the vast majority would simply be recycled
🤩 Which scale do you use to weigh essential oils and which unit? Many thanks ✨
I don't know the scale but she did say 200 grams.
Wow
What is the diameter of the tealight containers? And what wick size did you use?
Hi, 50mm x 25mm. www.cosyowl.com/metal-containers/antique-tea-light

Very easy! Use soapy cool water, not warm as it generates grease!
That’s was super easy. Thank you for the tutorial

@Cosy Owl if your FO doesn't bind to the wax at 65 degrees you will have lesser scent anyway.
hi! don't we need to cover wicks with melted candle before we put the container?
I did a tea light and the wick just drowned after 2 hours...
