An interesting topic for me would be John Deere’s role during WWII and WWI. How did JD assist the war effort? Was producing farm equipment considered critical to supporting the wars or was some production shifted to war materials? Also the employees, were they exempt from military service or shifted into war production or service. I worked with a JD engineer who during the Vietnam war was fresh out of Ohio State, and was exempt from the draft because of his position at JD.
That would be a very interesting video, I wonder if wed have a draft today if people working for deere would still be exempt from military service? Good comment, Thanks for watching👍
That was quick, filling those cribs in 4:40 minutes. Nice job with plenty of ears flowing out of that JD 300’s elevator.
Cattle will love that.
yes sir! Thanks for watching
The good old days ounce again.
I miss picking corn, we had the 2510 on the New Idea 2 row picker, a C Farmall on the wagons and a B Allis on the elevator.
Looks like a better crop than most had in the east this year.
That looked like nice corn we also had a good yr here in eastern pa I also use a 2520 to move my wagons
JD 300 is great picker, 3 row at a time should fill that elevator and fill that wagon
Thanks for watching👍
Topic after the harvester series, the John Deere L and LA tractors. Not sure the story behind them.
Looks like it must've rained there a little more judging by ear size.
