Make sure your power station have adequate ventilation on the side. There are fans on both side for airflow.

If it locks and unlocks all the doors, the only way to do that is to run a wire to the main lock unlock switch on the driver's door or the multiplex unit under the dash. If it locks just the hatch it should be a lot simpler.🙂

How does the element drive/accelerate with all that weight? Recently went out with my gf and we only had our dogs and fishing gear, our element had a tough time going up the mountain lol

Dude - I appreciate the effort in designing & building (& making use of every nook & cranny) out a rig - cuz I've done a few.
BUT FTLOG - when you NEED to strap $H*T to the back & on top of a rig - you might wanna consider putting UR Big Boy pants on & git a larger vehicle so you DON"T have to have all that Fn KRRR@P attached & buy a vehicle that is actually Engineered to handle all that extra weight - A larger rig will make it way less dangerous to other people on the road. Cuz that TOP heavy OVerWeight vehicle Ain't Safe SON.
& if you don't give a FF & just want to virtue signal that you are the 4*4 Boy - Goal Accomplished - I Guess🤡🤡🤡
