Hi Charlotte, thank you for the great content!!! I haven't seen the IMAGE GUIDE FOR SQUARESPACE SEO: link. Looks like it is missing. I am already following you :D Blessings.
Thanks for pointing that out Adriana, I've updated the video description with the correct link to the Image Guide! Here you go :) www.charlotteohara.ca/products/image-guide-squarespace-seo
Hi Charlotte! Thank you so much for the useful content! This is really helpful. I'm launching a new website soon for real estate photography and your content is giving me the confidence to do the basic Squarespace SEO for my first few months, if I find I'm not reaching my web traffic goals later in the year, do you do SEO auditing outside of the US? I'm UK-based you see. Thanks again for the really helpful and inspiring content (also this is my first UA-cam comment EVER lol). Look forward to speaking with you, when you wake up on the West Coast :)
Question, so if I already uploaded a photo that wasn't named properly on the original file, but it's in the resolution that I want, I HAVE to change the name of the original file? Or can I just edit the "Image Title" and captions in my blog posts instead and be fine?
I don't disagree with you, Bernhard, haha! However TinyPNG is a great free & easy tool that anyone can use. Although yes, I assume most photographers have lightroom already :) Glad you enjoyed the video!
This was super helpful! I now need to go back and update all my file names.
So glad it was helpful, Chadwick! I promise the grunt work is worth it LOL :)

I sure do! My clients are literally all over the world so that's no problem. Looking forward to working with you, good luck until then!
@@CharlotteOHara1 Thank you! I think I will need it :') - but merrily working away on your checklist in the meantime, so thanks for the start up help!

Hi Michael, yes you have to change the image's physical file name and then re-upload it to your Squarespace website!
For photographers Lightroom will be a better way to compress images. Just select the file size when exporting. Otherwise very helpful video!
