Thank you Simeon for this video in which you take the time to let the notes evolve. I have to admit that when I discovered this new instrument a while ago, I thought: as always, Fracture Sounds is neat, but for once I wasn't under the spell. I said to myself, I'll pass. Then, this evening, listening to your presentation on headphones, I feel I've heard it in a whole new light. So I say thank you and no thank you, because now I'm going to have to spend some money! 😅
It is very hard for me not to be tempted to be so engrossed in a sound that I find myself wanting to move to a new chord or try a phrase, instead of stopping on a chord or even a single note to allow it to unfold into its full bloom.
There is so much beauty in how they captured this allowing the players to interact in such a way to create these stunning interplays of the layers.
