Ceramic all the way 'round my C8 too. Semi-desert here so all my vehicles are tinted. Side note: my shop initially refused to do the windshield on my '22 Subaru WRX, their service bulletin indicated there's a computer in the dash that can't handle any install fluid. I convinced them I don't have that Eyesight model. So they did the windshield...no problems to date.
Good question. I've been asked by others too. I did 50% on the windshield (you can do 80 for a very clear look, I did 50 for just a shade of tint) and 15% on the door glass.
@RobertMacCready , Bob did you have any trouble at all with the tint on your rear glass due to the engine heat ? I have a 2023 and I'm trying to get someone to tint my rear hatch glass .
@@SubhanKhan-nt8fy I traded it in for a slightly used Tesla Plaid. Loved the car and the technology. Fastest 5-seater I've ever driven. And that includes 2-seaters as well. But missed the Corvette so after a few months, went back to the C8. Moved up 2 years to a 2022 3LT that has the same outside paint and interior colors. Transmission seems better and car overall seems better too.
@@mrrig3414I'm trying to remember if the tint was on the inside or the engine side. I've drawn a blank on which side. But, I would go for the inside if you did do it.

Doors were 15% and windshield was 50. (I could have gone 80 but I wanted just a little tint.)

Great video, I got my windows tinted with ceramic film. I need the front done as well.
Getting ready to have this done on my 3lt to insure integrity of the dash leather for the future. This video helped me to understand the process.

I did the rear glass on my 2020 but I skipped it on the 2022.
