I love those small hotel rooms for traveling Japan. I used similar rooms most of the time during my last visit and was so surprised at how low the cost was. Here in America finding a room for less than $100 is almost impossible, especially in larger cities.

My sister who is a thoracic surgeon in a major city hospital says, people get sick for 3 reasons. 1 they don't wash their hands several times a day or use disinfectant throughout the day like Purell. 2 People tend to touch everything that other people touch, from rails in trains and buses to many other objects, and that transfers viruses that get people sick. 3 People tend to touch their face and not maintaining washing their hands and that also gets them sick. Moral of the story is wash your hands several times a day, to prevent getting sick. In the winter when it's col, people need to keep the head, neck, back and feet warm to prevent getting cold, as those are locations that people lose body heat. Head most important. So wear a wool hat.

You've been traveling a lot, plus you haven't been getting enough sleep. Your immune system probably would've been okay during the travel if you'd been sleeping more; or, if you were traveling less, you might be exposed to fewer germs, and you'd still be able to fight off infection even if you weren't sleeping much. But the two things together make it easier to get sick. Since traveling is practically your job, now, you just gotta get more sleep! 😴

Your story of working hard while doesn't achieving the desired results, being unable to afford to buy a stable home rings deeply with many people out there. I myself have worked hard in my life getting a master's degree while being unable to get stable employment in my field for long.
