As someone who's done programming and web development for 15 years: This is an excellent summary. Good luck to everyone who is just starting! A small tip from me: web development can be very rewarding, but also quite frustrating sometimes. If you find yourself stuck (it's normal, and happens to everyone!), take a step back, go outside, meet a friend for coffee, have a glass of wine/orange juice, or do whatever else to clear your head. 🙃
@@VandalVortex No, why? You can always challenge yourself by adding new features you have never build before to your web apps. thank u so much for this video, as a guy whos been learning how to code for months with no idea what to do with it or anything, this helped me understand what is really going on in web development
This is why i am out becoming insane I had my last interview 3 years ago, they started to ask me about 10 different platforms then other frameworks and they pretended i had to know how to use all of them as a senior. At my sentence: "you will not find anyone with those requirements, and if you can find it he lies", they answered: "we know, but we must follow the orders" The last job i had to manage a solution with 30 projects that every action used to a project that calls several JSs that call 3 services that call some Dlls that call stored procedures in SqlServer that is checking some data and return those, now...try to imagine if you have an alert in JS saying: "ERROR", every time i've been stuck for 3 days to follow the flow backward to find who is failing.
This happens because a lot of companies have trashy management, they know nothing about tech/dev related issues that originates from real-world problems. There's a saying, "someone takes a dump, another person cleans it."
I'm seriously surprised Lambda School taught me all of this stuff. Html, css, JavaScript, reactjs, npm & yarn, redux, GitHub, gitflow, nodejs, express, knexjs, MySQL, postgreSQL, I mean they went really deep and I'm impressed how much I retained. Granted this got me enough to build and be able to pick up things along the way but this video just clarified to me that in ready to go. I'm sure if I can manage this that you can as well if you're a senior at this

Sadly due to personal reasons this didn't come to be!, I've been out of my dead end job for over a year now and I'm finally into something computer related by building computers. But with Web development its like an itch! I'm staring fresh and finally I've found something that's not "in your face". Never give up and stick to what you want to accomplish!
I have never learned so much in such short time !!
Thanks to you !!
The contents and presentation were absolutely amazing! Will check out the resources provided. Thanks a lot and good luck!
I have beed trying to understand web development for the last week, until i found this channel, i had no idea what was what, and for what ,this single vid was all i needed to understand everything.
Channel is underrated, keep it going, wonderful..
This was SO incredibly helpful!! Thank you for making content that's clear and to the point that can really get people on the right track!
This is exactly the video I needed since I’m in high school and had no idea where to start.
hows it going with that
I was looking for a great intro video to web development to pass to a friend who is interested in this field. Being a full stack web dev myself, this video is EXCELLENT in describing the top down view for someone who has never looked into any of this. Well done!!
I'm 18 and I was underestimating my age for this...just learning everything for good comes in a good hand always.
6months any think you done so far
7 months, progress?
Love the acting! :D
Hope to see more of your live coding sessions.
Thank you!! Yes, I'll be doing more live coding soon!
Cảm ơn bạn!
This video is invaluable, pure gold for all of us who are just getting started. Thanks a lot ✌🏻 😊
You’re amazing! Thank you for this insightful roadmap.🙌🏽
I like this very video for over 1½ yr now i keep on watching it time by time as a junior DevOps
Excellent breakdown! I've been in tech forever, systems programmer and admin, always hated webdev. Its still around so I figured I better get to know it. Learning all these frameworks and wondering why lol and now I know
@1:13 I like how you referenced the "IT Crowd"
Why did she take the internet out and put it in a video ? Doesn't she know that the whole world might fall into chaos ? :O
Oh man, didn't even catch that until after watching the whole video through almost lol. Good eye!
This is the best UA-cam content I've come across. So well detailed and packed full. Thanks from Nigeria .
A beginner here, I hope this journey will not be in vain♥️
Can we learn together as a beginner
Hi! I just wanted to say I absolute adore your videos, thank you for making them! I was wondering if you could do a video explaining how you film and edit your videos and do your animations? I know it isn't coding, but still, I find them phenomenal and would like very much to learn these skills!
Thanks! My husband does all of that-- he just started a channel w/ a few videos, called Digital Sage. Hope that helps!
@@TheCoderCoder thank you so much for answering my message, I've only just seen that and it made my day! I love your tutorials and your channel in general, so a big fan! I just subscribed to your husband's channel, and am watching his videos!! they are wonderful as well and i like the humorous elements haha! in any case, thank you so much again, I have so much respect for you and hope to improve my programming skills - web and otherwise - as i go.
The animation is spot on! Makes it so easy and fun to understand, great work!
Loved the “IT CROWD” internet reference
This was incredible!! Super glad this showed up in my feed. Greeting from Chile!!
thank u so much for this video, as a guy whos been learning how to code for months with no idea what to do with it or anything, this helped me understand what is really going on in web development
This is such valuable content! Thanks SIS!
This is why i am out
becoming insane
I had my last interview 3 years ago, they started to ask me about 10 different platforms then other frameworks and they pretended i had to know how to use all of them as a senior.
At my sentence: "you will not find anyone with those requirements, and if you can find it he lies", they answered: "we know, but we must follow the orders"
The last job i had to manage a solution with 30 projects that every action used to a project that calls several JSs that call 3 services that call some Dlls that call stored procedures in SqlServer that is checking some data and return those, now...try to imagine if you have an alert in JS saying: "ERROR", every time i've been stuck for 3 days to follow the flow backward to find who is failing.
then how did you find the job🙄
I am also stuck in this kinda problem
I'm sure if I can manage this that you can as well if you're a senior at this
Thank you!! Before this video I was poor and now I'm rich!
You are the best. Love you
