yeah man I really wanna put shovel knight songs in my playlist but they're just sooo nostalgic for me shovel knight one of the only 3 games I ever remember playing as a kid (ocarina of time and pokemon black) I don't even know how many hours I have on that game cuz I got to enchantress and couldn't win and who knows how long I played that game and how many times I died.
The name "Treasure Trove" is so fitting.
This game is a true treasure. My favourite indie game, to me it's a 10/10.

Well, the style how it is made reminds me of a couple of old games i loved as a child. 8-bit classics like Castlevania, Ghouls'n Goblins, Megaman. The music adds a lot to it, too. Chiptunes always bring me back into the past. :)

I've only gotten to play the NES once and this music reminds me of when I did play it. And since I didn't grow up on the NES even I think the music is AMAZING!!!

The box art is very reminiscent of the Japanese Mega Man box arts. Nice homage there.
A lot of this game is inspired by Megaman, from the number of level bosses you fight to the items you acquire (unlocking through chester) after the defeat of a boss
Megaman, Ducktails, Zelda 2, Castlevania, and Super Mario Bros 3 were this games heaviest inspirations.

It says alot that in the latest years none of the cooperate AAA games have impressed me as the low budget games indie that were not that best graphic but were made from dedication and a fantastic vision of a good game: Limbo, papers please, shovel knight and of course undertale... These game have given me gamingmemories for life!
