Vlog Number #53 And it is the quietest VLOG to date.... So yes I have been infected with that nasty ailment known was COVID and this means a weekend based at home !
So an ideal time to get out into the games room and spend the time sorting through and cataloging my retro games collection and a general tidy up in the games room.

Get better soon OG. First time i had covid I couldn't taste or smell anything for 6 weeks. Lost a stone in weight though so happy days. Hope your well enough for a pint with the next England game.

I’m in dartford, I’ve had it as have kids, I can’t shake it. Also many of our friends and neighbours have it. I suspect it’s rampant but of course not being measured anymore!

I did a Covid test, which was negative, it was about 6-weeks ago, my nose was dripping uncontrollably, like a broken tap, and the sneezing was unrelateing, it lasted about two days. two box of tissues, and lots of similar type paper, all used, ever since I've had a heavy persistent cough,, coughing lots of nasty stuff each morning- 6-weeks later. Enough of my issues hope you and little OG get well soon. and hoping Mrs OG doesn't go positive. Otherwise still an enjoyable video, totally agree more space on the shelf legitimises buying more games.
My brother has had a really nasty chest… 3 lots of anti biotics and now only just starting to feel normal after months matey…. So know how bad your feeling there matey
I tell you what OG, Blackpool is a breeding ground for Covid. I've been there the last 2 summers and come back home with Covid both times. You didn't look too good there buddy thanks for soldiering on and giving us a VLOG. Hope you are felling better soon and can get back on those beers for next weels VLOG. All the best!

Get well champ , late to comment here i know. Got an email from Game saying they are cancelling the game membership card where you get points for buying games. I only have £1.60 worth points so not bothered really. Just pointing this out as you were in a games store few videos ago where everything was half price think you are right matey, they are on the way out i think too

To be honest we employ a small staff team and as its holiday season etc I would feel awful if I infected staff members and ruined their holiday leave etc.
To be honest I only tested as felt rough. If I had no symptoms wouldn’t have bothered 😉

Pre 2020 and Covid, I would say that generally most people who were feeling under the weather with what could be a cold, cough, flu even, they would probably say to themselves “I’d best not go to work and risk spreading it around” or “I’d best not go and see Nan at the weekend”, just out of pure common sense, which is of course the right thing to do.
You may not know exactly what was making you ill as you can’t test for those things, but the fact is you felt ill and you didn’t want to spread it around. Definitely the right thing to do.
Fast forward to 2024 where Covid is now no more harmful to any vaccinated person than the flu, in fact some would say less harmful than that, surely the same common sense applies? If you feel unwell just do what you did before, don’t go spreading it around, but who cares whether it’s Covid, cold, cough or flu?
It’s this obsession to know that it’s Covid that I can’t understand, no one cared before what it was so why is everyone so bothered about it now? If it is Covid, so what? It shouldn’t change what we do in any way.
This was my point.
And to add some context to this, my father died from Covid in Jan 2021 so it is an illness that is close to my family. But I know that he wouldn’t want people to live in constant fear of it, and he certainly wouldn’t want me to live the rest of my life panicking and testing myself every time I got a sniffle or cough.
He would be saying “let’s just move on with life and get back to normality”.
