Kim pleas try to find another way for Mr. Michael, land is gold, and will always have value, when other things have gone and been worn out. Can he ride or operate a motor bike? , and how long will it be used . Maybe for the price, the money can be raised. But it is his land, so this is a hard decision to make, but you don't want to throw away something so important as land for a bike that might not be used too often, or not be able to be operated, by him safely.

I personally don't recommend Mr.Michael selling his land. Instead he can grow a cash crop that will make him money & then he can buy a bodaboda. But he doesn't have 2 sell his land coz true wealth is in the land. Keeping your land is priceless. Many enterprises can be done on the land that bring in money without selling your land.

Kim, Michael is disabled and working physically must be hard for him. It is a good idea for him to have an income from a motor bike (just like Salla does - just rent it to a good person for him) and a shoe repair business - you need to consider other streams of income for your village.
Make sure the land is bought by you or someone trustworthy.

If he sells the land, where would he plant his food? Because he'd be selling what food he planted already.
It’s not wise to sell land for a bodaboda. Use that land instead for agriculture.
Is there motorbike insurance in Uganda in case there was an accident and his motorbike was destroyed then the insurance would pay out? Could he rent his land to someone to use for farming and receive an income that way? The land will always be there but the bike has a limited life. There’s lots of issues to consider.

Grandpa is getting around good. Gardening is what he lives to do. He is blessed to have his own land and he is 86 years old.
I think the grands sons who are able should work the farm, make it a family business, take the left over harvest to the market places to sell after the village needs have been met.
