We met more than tens years ago when you were shooting on the big island. You offered me to be in one of your videos, but my shyness and also the fact that your music was Christian drew me away. I have rediscovered you recently and just wanted to let you know that I have come to Jesus Christ 3 years ago. pardon me, I can't help but chuckle at this concept of a Christian Reggae band. I'm a Christian, but when I was younger, in high school, I made a rather serious attempt at being a Rastafarian. I grew dreads, didn't eat meat, smoked ganja and listened to Reggae music constantly (which is basically Rasta gospel music). As most here know, Rastafarians are basically Jews, except they believe that Hailie Selassie I was the Massiah. Hearing reggae music used for Christian worship is probably one of the most pleasing/brilliant concepts, whilst simultaneously ironic takes in music I've dared to delve into. for the record, I think this is good. I know Jesus would approve, and as Christians, it shouldn't matter what musical medium is being used (plenty of Christian death metal bands), but the words and the worship that shine through. Carry on, my good people!
Love this group! I have a family member-Johnny Guerrero, who used to perform with these guys in their early days. This video was made in my area of the Four Corners area, when Christafari had an outdoor concert in Farmington, NM. Praise the Lord for such talent, beautiful voices and devotion to Him.

pardon me, I can't help but chuckle at this concept of a Christian Reggae band. I'm a Christian, but when I was younger, in high school, I made a rather serious attempt at being a Rastafarian. I grew dreads, didn't eat meat, smoked ganja and listened to Reggae music constantly (which is basically Rasta gospel music).
As most here know, Rastafarians are basically Jews, except they believe that Hailie Selassie I was the Massiah. Hearing reggae music used for Christian worship is probably one of the most pleasing/brilliant concepts, whilst simultaneously ironic takes in music I've dared to delve into.
for the record, I think this is good. I know Jesus would approve, and as Christians, it shouldn't matter what musical medium is being used (plenty of Christian death metal bands), but the words and the worship that shine through.
