Waiting for my first 3D printer (Creality CR-10) to arrive and researching the software while I wait. This video really helped, especially the virtual printer option which is great to play with while I test it all out. Great video, thanks heaps!
do i push motors into the endstops? my motor will click but cant control them. everything except motors work. ive lowered pots now too. When I click y hom click, z home click, x home click or home all 3 clicks but cant control them i have clicked the endstops to as noticed it saying on the lcd but still no movement? im so close right? help aha
where is the menu to Create/Set and SAVE, Pre-Set Filament setting's, to Chose from ABS, PLA, T-glaze or Nylon. I forgot how to Pre-set these Choice's, in Repetier, any help would be great. I would father not use the "G=code" hack, since I knew the other route previously, which was Smarter 100%. Going G-code edit each print without Preset's, is Stupid....

In your video, you simply press connect and it does, but in mine, it sends back an arror message that reads "serial com error:System.io.Ports.SerialErrorRecievedEventArgs". Do you have any idea what i am doing wrong? Thanks for the help.
chek what com port your printer is on and find settings in the software to change the com port so they match, go to device manager in windows to see what com port its on

Noah Wilding You goto manualy open the ftdi programe thats in with repetier ect on your sd. it dont auto install aha.
what's wrong if it doesn't print properly, but the filament comes out as a string?
