A good strategy might be to charge a very small amount per "hello world". $0.00000000001 sounds pretty reasonable to the client, but you'll still make infinite money.

@@10highsky ok, I’ll make it clearer with an example. You spec out a project and say you can meet all the requirements (maybe even a few extras) for $10,000 and it will take a month. The company you are in contact with says great, but we need it in three weeks instead. Fine, either the price goes up (now you’re fast and good) or some of the requirements get dropped (now you’re fast and cheap).
Getting paid “less” is relative. The dollars earned are lower but maybe it means you can get by working half a day or don’t need to put in extra time at night / weekends. Some find lower stress to be a very nice trade off for lower compensation.

One thing you can do is Quote a little higher price, than find someone that will do it for you cheaper. Your the middle person. I use to buy products from Amazon, eBay and other places and sell them via Craigslist. I see people doing this too. They bid first on eBay and sell it back as soon as they buy it. Saw a lady buy a nice bike for like $10. on facebook, and sell it minutes later for $100.

Hello Tim. Thanks a lot for (all) the nice videos. Similar to you, I like using pygame to build some small games or gadget, but this cannot be widely used because of performance and compatibility. Besides python I have a very little experience of c++.
A very practical question: in which direction could I learn to find a job which is similar to pygame or build something. Right now I'm working as a data scientist and trying to learn more stuff about data engineer and API, which seems not exactly what I liked.
