This song is awesome. The verses are in an odd meter, either in 11/8, or alternating measures of 6 and 5
Good observation. I think it is still in 4/4 but there are some really killer poly-rhythms going on! I never realized how technical it was until you mentioned something. Take care!

Just stumbled into this, looking for something else. Very pleasant surprise, especially pleasant on second listen with lyrics from the comments. Exceptional girl, she gets good help from her band. We all know rock is visual, too, so why not compel her boys to maybe grow their hair or something? They all look like librarians, none of them are too ugly, they could all use a charisma boost, although she provides plenty. She's beautiful, great guitar and voice and lyrics.

OMG what is the line at 0:42 after "All the time that we wasted" ???????? Love this band but I CANNOT understand that line and it's drivin' me crazy. "Torch on/touchin in a cold home" is all I can come up with.
Holy wow I think you're right. If not I don't care, that's what I'm going to sing now. It makes total sense in context too. Very good job.
