The "average wage" is supposed to be $90k. But this is calculated as a Mean, (so dragged up significantly by the 1%). The MEDIAN average wage is like $60k or something which is much more realistic.
I understand the whole pay yourself first thing.. but how do you know how much to give yourself if you havent paid all the bills and "life" crap first. So ok ill give myself 500.. leaves me 500 for example but oh no! i cant pay my bills now as that exceeds that amount.. Shit should have paid all the crap first then whatevers left is mine to play with.. hmm
I make $65k, I have 2 properties and have to pump extremely hard to set myself up for future. It Sh*ts me beyond anything that someone earning HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS isn's financially free after 6yrs of 200k+
