4:49, FUN FACT: the 'SKIP PENALTY' is already implemented into the game, to get it to need at least 2 accounts, one that has rock bottom and another that doesn't, both of those accounts need to be friended to each other and the one with rock bottom has to start a mines elevator, the the other one joins that elevator, then once the account without rock bottom dies you can see that account has a skip penalty giving them -50% knobs and disabling achievements, the only way to not get the skip penalty is to have the rock bottom badge, ik this bcuz i saw it in an fgteev video, then i did testing from there.
Its probably cuz the guy with the rock bottom badge that made the mines elevator makes the game think that the player don't exist anymore and that the other guy skipped the whole hotel by themself (its my sort of theory yk)
4:50NO, this is actually a penalty for not reaching the mine but joining some public elevator leading to it, you get -50% for not completing the hotel, I know because I played the mine with a friend who didn't complete the hotel
3:01 wrong, those are the door's rails, sanlucar's cathedral haves them in every door. 4:03 cool idea, but it would be to unfair to the figure, so you maybe had to go through 51 doors.
I don't think it would be any shortcut but there are 2 things this huge door can be 1.:A new sublevel where you have to beat it to get something rare possibly the Scanner 2.:A loot room with tons of items or gold
I think that the rails on the floor are guides for the doors, and the reason they are called rails is because the devs were using the asset for different purposes. I also think that there wouldn’t be 2 different subfloors in the hotel. With the relatively recent release of the mines, I think it would be there
i always thought that the garden subfloor would appear in the castle were a garden would make sense to be not a mine why would there be a garden in a mineshaft
3:09 they’re rails, and it’s obvious that they’re for the doors to open properly, like they’re in the path in the which the doors would probably open, like it’s a very big giant door, so it make sense that it would requiere rails to be opened, like who has the boldness to suggest these are minecart rails when the door is literally on top of the rail… it’s like looking at the sky and saying that it is actually green even though you literally are seeing that it is blue.
@ it really doesn’t matter much if they don’t have monochromatic vision, because if someone (for example) has a vision that switches up pink and blue will live their entire life thinking that blue looks like pink and therefore the sky will still be “blue” for them, in the case of a monochromatic vision it could be retold as: it’s like looking at the sky and saying that it’s actually dark even though you literally are seeing that it is light.
I honestly think this door is actually going to be neither of your suggestions, and instead, a lore-based location. Let me explain. A theory i recently made ( the SJSM one lolol ) suggest that something big must be hiding below the Hotel, as it is most likely anomalous, like an Entity of it's own for example ( just like a certain Specimen, if you know what i mean ). I know this may seem so out of pocket to the average fan, but, just think about it for a second : compared to the Mines Entities, the Hotel Entities are more numerous, more powerful, more determined, and look much more like actual monsters, while the Mines Entities more look like sorts of mutated animals that only want to protect their species. Those Hotel Entities ( Seek and Figure are a good example ) also really want to end the player's journey early for whatever reason, and seem so perseverent in their objectives that this almost seems surnatural ( i mean, Figure literally threw himself down the elevator to try and catch us at Door 100, and is probably still going to chase us for a while, at least until Floor 3 ). In fact, i think this Hotel is so out of the ordinary that, at some point ( between the 9th and 10th "floors", if my theory is correct ), the player will actually go back to the Hotel to discover it's secrets, and, most likely, will fight something very, VERY big underneath it ( it may be an even bigger version of Seek ( i doubt it though ), an entirely new Entity, or even THE GODDANG HOTEL ITSELF ( if it's anomalous, why not lolol ) ).
I think, in The Mines + update, there's gonna be a courthouse puzzle that when finished, splits Guiding Light's statue in half, allowing you to hop into the hole and land in The Nest.
Ok so first, I’m gonna say corrections, then my own theory: Corrections - the railings are guide rails because the door is so large - the skip penalty appears when someone who hasn’t beaten floor 1 joins floor 2 BUT it could be reimplemented for that too. Theory/ideas Just like rooms I think there should be a badge for entering the garden rooms, and then beating it The reason why is because I think the door in this video could require the skeleton key, shears, two lock picks, AND the gardens rooms entering badge (all players need it to enter) Then once you enter the door, it teleports you to where the garden rooms entrance is, With the right stuff to open it because the lack of time to loot. Which I think should be in the garden room in the nest, and I think it should teleport you to the garden area in the lobby of the nest or smth Anyway that’s my theory
My theory is you use the possessed candle to open the courtyard statue, and you get to go through it, and then end up at the big door at the end of greenhouse. Like a skip.
weird theory. what if the garden subfloor actually loops back to the Courtyard basement? the hidden room and the basement do look somewhat similar, they're probably connected in some way so basically you enter the sub-floor, and when you finish it you are sent back to Door 89 to complement to this, the basement could have some sort of key to open this sub-floor, as well, if you never enter the basement, you couldnt really open the basement door from the inside so you would have to: -get shears in courtyard -open basement -get key -finish greenhouse -open sub-floor -play sub-floor -return to basement and also said floor loop shouldnt be able to be played more than once to prevent people from just farming and playing the floors over and over and getting pretty much endless knobs
I don't think it will be behind the boarded door. It might be a Loot for gold door just like the Infirmary and The basement. Also applying theory that before this Mines update, There were more wooden doors which we couldn't enter and now we can enter more doors as less doors are blocked by woods.

@@ap4lofficial Yeah and there was gonna be vine chests in the greenhouse which you had to unlock with shears, but after they decided to wait til floor 2.
My personal theory is that the statue is the entrance and the large doors is the exit. This is because the rooms is entered at door 60 yet drops you at door 67 or so right outside the infirmary(a room that always spawns every run like door 100) which skips some rooms. This makes me think that you can “skip” the greenhouse by entering the garden, and also the statue sets up a good place for stairs, which go UNDERGROUND, just like the mines. Just a theory tho Edit: You said in a previous video that the boss may be a large snare thing I think, and the only place to my knowledge that spawns snares is none other than the greenrooms, commonly referred to as a garden
One thing that came to mind while Cheddar was naming the possible entrances to the subfloor, he said that the entrance could be in the statue or in the 99 door, because they are both unfinished. He forgot one more though, the basement. It's actually unfinished because there are inaccessible doors and because is just kinda pointless, so here's my theory. What if there was a minecart minigame that led you to the 99 door? (More or less like the first seek chase in floor 2), it would be a second option to end up in room 100 (and would probably give you an achievement). It's just a theory though, but thanks for reading! ❤
I think that room WILL be the entrance to the garden subfloor, because it has a lot of unnecessary details. Like a triangle roof, frame around the door (usual for floors, like the hotel) and the boarded door could be tempoary, or you'll need an item to break the door. Even the toolsheds are strangely placed on the walls.
doors fact: you can crouch and put your head down near a wall that is next to a door to see if its a dupe door. it will look like a square dark box. but if it isnt a dupe door, the wall is covered. this bug is also possible with the unopenable giant door in door 99, if you do it straight on the door.
The "SKIP PENALTY" knob decrease is actually used in the game already. When playing on a floor that you haven't unlocked yet (Like joining your friend's Mines elevator without having Rock Bottom), you'll get the skip penalty knob decrease.
You do realise the rails are most likely just for helping the door open right? Like, they perfectly outline where the doors would swing if they were to open. Heck! If you went into studio and swung the doors open, they'd probably line up with the rails.
I would also like to add that the skip penalty is for joining a friends mines elevator before you beat floor 1. I got it when I joined my friend's mines elevator before I beat the run.
@@EndIessProductions true, but it's weird how there are rails behind a door that's about twice as big as us, yet no rails for the door 5x bigger than the previous door.
Bro, not to be rude, but... the rails on the door are actually guide rails for the door, like how you may see a very large door, the centers very far from the hinges, so you put wheels that sit in groves or "rails" to guide the wheels and the base of the door to make it open easier. Because if it didn't, it would stress the hinges. And from where you can stand in the game, it would open away from you. And the door would ride on the guides/rails
What if the room 99 door was actually a setup for an endless mode? Or maybe a longer hotel run You enter it, maybe encountering another courtyard-like room wich leads back into the hotel. From there, you play for 100 more doors, gaining more gold & items, until you reach door 199, where you either go through the big door again, or you go into the electrical room to finish up your run.
skip penalty is going to the mines without beating the hotel. My real life friend experienced this (in the form of receiving a message of "You can play, but you will not get any achievements" or something similar), and I think Skip Penalty is what you'd get if you tried to play The Mines without beating The Hotel first, as my rl friend experienced (probably).
4:08 you know the door 149 there's a door maybe this shortcut will lead us here but if we don't have minecart will guidling light give It could be correct (If I was right....)
It is the same door in door 200 as the castle (citadel) door, maybe in the next update you can find a secret item like a lockpick would open it, but like an even bigger lockpick to help you skip room 100 and go to floor 2 if you had already completed floor 1
theory, the subfloor is hidden under the statue in the courtyard and when you come back you go through the door in room 99 and skip the greenhouse, like how when you go to the rooms and come back you always get teleported to the hospital.
4:48 i think instead of skipping door 100 and a shortcut to the mines Instead this door will be connected to the hidden door at the courtyard Currently that room only rewards u gold but i think in the future it will lead to the door 99 secret door Essentially a skip for the greenhouse but maybe only accessible by those who have beat floor1 before
The door at the end of the hallway might also act as a subfloor similar to the Backdoor as a precursor to the Mines. Maybe you’d need to complete the Mines and then you can access the door. Maybe it’ll have 50 doors that lead to the adit or maybe even further, like to the first seek chase or The Nest?? Idk just a guess.
Here's how I see it: Cellar: lore/mini boss fight/ sub floor about figure Statue: same thing but for the 3 lights Double door: snares or Jeff or something completely new just for fun for possibly one or all
I feel like either the double doors in the greenhouse or a new room in the mines are more likely for a new subfloor. Even if rooms despawn, the statue and courtyard are still somewhat close to the rooms' door
4:38 Skip penalty is when if you die in the hotel but someone makes it to the mines and you are still in the run and haven’t best hotel yet you get skip penalty saying “Complete hotel” but it would probably be used for the reason your saying Hope this helps
fun fact: the skip penalty is already used in the game. it appears if you haven't beaten the hotel, and join a friend's elevator to play the mines, you get this skip penalty when dying. it gives you -50% knobs., and says: "SKIP PENALTY, ESCAPE THE HOTEL!".
The skip penalty is for when you die, or win floor 2 without beating the hotel. and the rails look like something to keep the doors in place, and to make them open easier
What if the figure, when he was in the library, used the courtyard basement doors behind the bars to get to the big door in room 99, and then opened it to go into room 99, and then went into room 100 before the player? It's probably confusing.
At 4:40, the skip penalty is for skipping beating the hotel and playing the mines. That is only its current use though. It may be changed to that idea you suggested.
I think when the garden subfloor releases, you have to get to the seek chase in floor 2. Then take a turn through a wrong way in the seek chase where you fall AGAIN into a minecart powered by curious light then you start riding over the water and break through into the hotel into room 99 and the door that this video is about opens and you go in it. Then the minecart breaks through the room that's boarded up. And that's how you enter the subfloor! (my theory and its a pretty big stretch but is possible)
4:50 skip penalty is actually if you join a friend in floor 2, without having beaten floor 1 yourself. Game doenst stop you, you just get penalized for it.
I thought you would like some tips. In door 100, Always have an alarm clock and lockpick. Open the locked door for the breaker puzzle. Put the alarm clock by the lever and pull it. Run into the breaker room and crouch in a corner, holding a crucifix is recommended. Take as much time as you need to get every button. For the library, you can hide up the blocked staircase but don’t get too close to the hand rails so figure can’t get you. If you’re upstairs, only go downstairs when figure is approaching the entrance. You don’t need to get 8, the least books I ever have is 4. Get 4 digits of the code and enter every number in the lock until you get the right one. For the green house, wait at a closet for 30/40 seconds and do what you’d normally do in the hotel, watch out for snares.
I think the courtyard basement, the hole beneath the statue and the room 99 statue will have the same function, like a secret way of accessing something with the player needing to do smth smth invoking all three of these things to access (similar to how you (basically) needed Jeff’s shop, the room 60 entrance AND the room 62 lever
Idea: to get into garden subfloor, stand in front of the podium with the windings, decode it by entering it inside the chat (the windings read “limbo”) then the statue opens.
I think that it might be a subfloor that is hard but if you beat it, you will skip door 100, floor 2 seek chase and floor 2 figure and you will be teleported at door 150.
My theory is that we enter through the basement, and then the gardens are like the in between and then. Once we get past the gardens, we go. He then exit through that big door indoor 99, as we then tackle door 100 and go straight into the mines. Honestly, it's the most likely idea. And I think the secret with the statue is like of an entity or some boss. Just something big under the statue, waiting to attack.Probably abraham
I feel like the courtyard statue could open up and it would lead to one of the doors in the courtyard basement, (because it's blocked off) we'd be able to open the other door in front of the one we went through, and there would be some sort of lore room about one of the characters or something. (just speculation)
I would find it cool if the Door in Room 99 would lead to the Garden subfloor, but not like the entrance in floor 2 (to the garden subfloor) it doesn’t lead to room 0 but to room -50 so that you can skip a big part of the mines and can go directly to the subfloor and the catch is that you simply have to open more doors 😂
I think leaving the garden subfloor would lead to that big door, and the entrance would be in the courtyard basement, and entering the subfloor will play the unused song courtyard entrance.
Cheddar balls, this isn’t a game with shortcuts, it’s a game where you go through numbered doors IN ORDER! Who gave you the idea that you can go from door 99 to door 150??? You go from door 99 to door 100, not 99 to 150. You go from door 149 to 150.
It would be cool that at the end of the game there was a long chase sequence through all the floors and you would also go through there during the chase scene
To enter the subfloor I got two ideas for the items you need 1 shears use shears two times and skeleton key 2 one lock pic one shears use one skeleton key Let me what you think

I would also like to add, the skip penalty is for joining a friends mines elevator before you beat floor 1.
The door leads to floor 8
If u used friend to play floor 2 u get skip penalty
3:45 Crowbar update
WE OPENING THE DOOR FREEMAN 🗣️🗣️🗣️👍👍👍
3:27 yo bro it’s to help the door open it’s possible floor 3 entrance would have rails too bcuz normally these doors would be heavy
yet we open the castle door that's twice as big by lightly pushing it. don't you love game logic?
@ idk but that didn’t look like a light push
i'm kinda overexaggerating it, but still, that door is like 10x bigger than us, yet we could still open it by pushing.
@@TheRealFedriko I mean it’s not impossible tho
Or maybe a longer hotel run
You enter it, maybe encountering another courtyard-like room wich leads back into the hotel.
From there, you play for 100 more doors, gaining more gold & items, until you reach door 199, where you either go through the big door again, or you go into the electrical room to finish up your run.
3:14 I think the rails is for the door to slide open😊
Im early HAPPY THANKSGIVING ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉🎉❤
Jeff lives there 😂
skip penalty is going to the mines without beating the hotel. My real life friend experienced this (in the form of receiving a message of "You can play, but you will not get any achievements" or something similar), and I think Skip Penalty is what you'd get if you tried to play The Mines without beating The Hotel first, as my rl friend experienced (probably).
4:08 you know the door 149 there's a door maybe this shortcut will lead us here but if we don't have minecart will guidling light give It could be correct
(If I was right....)
new update december 1st??
hey! i’m wondering how you got that room 99 model and the halt diner model.
please tell me coz i have been looking for awhile
Bro how you make ur thumbnail
It is the same door in door 200 as the castle (citadel) door, maybe in the next update you can find a secret item like a lockpick would open it, but like an even bigger lockpick to help you skip room 100 and go to floor 2 if you had already completed floor 1
the skip penalty is for when you enter the mines without the rock bottom badge (by joining a friend)
theory, the subfloor is hidden under the statue in the courtyard and when you come back you go through the door in room 99 and skip the greenhouse, like how when you go to the rooms and come back you always get teleported to the hospital.
4:48 i think instead of skipping door 100 and a shortcut to the mines
Instead this door will be connected to the hidden door at the courtyard
Currently that room only rewards u gold but i think in the future it will lead to the door 99 secret door
Essentially a skip for the greenhouse but maybe only accessible by those who have beat floor1 before
The door at the end of the hallway might also act as a subfloor similar to the Backdoor as a precursor to the Mines. Maybe you’d need to complete the Mines and then you can access the door. Maybe it’ll have 50 doors that lead to the adit or maybe even further, like to the first seek chase or The Nest?? Idk just a guess.
Here's how I see it:
Cellar: lore/mini boss fight/ sub floor about figure
Statue: same thing but for the 3 lights
Double door: snares or Jeff or something completely new just for fun for possibly one or all
Thats where plant of viridis was grown 😮
i want more evedents
jeff behind the big door at room 99 with dupe's hands in the thumbnail is NOT something i expected to see
I feel like either the double doors in the greenhouse or a new room in the mines are more likely for a new subfloor.
Even if rooms despawn, the statue and courtyard are still somewhat close to the rooms' door
How did you get the expanded version
Goodness gracious, this guy literally gives us piles of information.
this may be the entry to the garden, but the statue opening could be another entry to the garden, idk-
4:38 Skip penalty is when if you die in the hotel but someone makes it to the mines and you are still in the run and haven’t best hotel yet you get skip penalty saying “Complete hotel” but it would probably be used for the reason your saying Hope this helps
fun fact: the skip penalty is already used in the game. it appears if you haven't beaten the hotel, and join a friend's elevator to play the mines, you get this skip penalty when dying. it gives you -50% knobs., and says: "SKIP PENALTY, ESCAPE THE HOTEL!".
what is bro on
you high?? watch the video at least ni
Interesting!
@@shamilmadatov8832 didn't your read the comment properly?
And it's a fun fact.
@@yanisgribissa2057 im pretty sure everyone knows about this
ok I guess not everyone.
@@shamilmadatov8832yes, everyone knew about the daily run streak too
The skip penalty is for when you die, or win floor 2 without beating the hotel. and the rails look like something to keep the doors in place, and to make them open easier
4:45 the skip penalty is used if you are playing the mines without completing the hotel
How do you know?
Nvm
@@aperson6637 It is a feature that has been shown in video several times and experienced by my friends.
Game doenst stop you, you just get penalized for it.
as someone who hasn’t beaten floor 1.
the skip penalty gui is just for not beating floor 1,
and getting into a friends floor 2 elevator
it's only currently for just that, it doesn't mean it can't be used for other things.
Btw I’m not an ai
@ i got to the last stupid fuse, I KNOW NWO TO
@@GamingBacon5525and don't have a skill issue
I figure it should be a shortcut to floor 3
I think the courtyard basement, the hole beneath the statue and the room 99 statue will have the same function, like a secret way of accessing something with the player needing to do smth smth invoking all three of these things to access (similar to how you (basically) needed Jeff’s shop, the room 60 entrance AND the room 62 lever
hi i love your videos
LOVE YOUR VIDS NEW ONE JUST DROPPED
Bro it's Nov 30th WHY IS THE HALLOWEEN UPDATE STILL IN THE GAME!?!?!?
because yes.
3:35 or it was just for the door to slide
I swear the person in the library with the painting on their head in the background gameplay is someone on my friends list
There's a horse jump scare behind it for cheddar balls to crash out
Idea: to get into garden subfloor, stand in front of the podium with the windings, decode it by entering it inside the chat (the windings read “limbo”) then the statue opens.
There is also a place where there is a dungeon with a lot of money in the courtyard. There could also be a entrance there
I think that it might be a subfloor that is hard but if you beat it, you will skip door 100, floor 2 seek chase and floor 2 figure and you will be teleported at door 150.
Maybe when pre hotel+ releases we could open it with the shears, if they got implemented into the older ver. (that is Just my opinion)
Do you have ANY Idea where the update is at? I've been waiting for like a MONTH!
Hmm its the horse inside the door prob.
It's like history but instead of explaining some theories about the world, this guy explains about roblox doors game and this is interesting!
I feel like the courtyard statue could open up and it would lead to one of the doors in the courtyard basement, (because it's blocked off) we'd be able to open the other door in front of the one we went through, and there would be some sort of lore room about one of the characters or something.
(just speculation)
Actually, skip penalty can mean that you went in floor 2 with a friend or a player without beating the hotel.
4:51 "retro fanum tax" 😭😭
4:15 it will be better if you get it if you beated the hotel instead, it will make more sense too probably
one thing i noticed is that the door layout looks rlly close to jeff's hallway in floor 2
I think those rails are supposed to support the dorr, as they are positioned at the same path as the door opening.
I think the "rails" is just a sort of door opener for the door to slide on it as it opens
It would be cool that at the end of the game there was a long chase sequence through all the floors and you would also go through there during the chase scene
4:32 the skip penalty is for when you go into the mines with a friend's elevator but you haven't beat the hotel yet
I believe that this door is connected to the courtyard basement, and that the basement would lead to a harder greenhouse, and this is the exit.
Cool vid :D
its gonna be the subfloor where bob hides his blue substance after breaking bad edit: cheddar balls clickbait?
To enter the subfloor I got two ideas for the items you need 1 shears use shears two times and skeleton key 2 one lock pic one shears use one skeleton key
Let me what you think
Aren't rails behind door just like mechanical support for door to open?
certified was here-
Bro is trying not to laugh so hard💀 0:35
Ok (I don’t know if you said this but) I think there could be 2 entrances for the garden subfloor, door 99, and a place in the nest or idk?
