Dear IINO...need a vedio for delivery agent and explain how he performs in an import shipment
Thank you for the information, great information. There is one question that I didn’t understand: the D/O issued by shipping company, the last bit on the video state once forwarder received import permit from Customs and pass D/O to shipment company in order to delivery to the specific destination by importer. Do you mean delivery company? Why forwarder pass on the D/O to shipping company if they are the one issuing D/O? Thank you for your feedback.
DO issued by shipping line and forwarder have seperate function. In VietNam, if FCL shipment, when importer pick up the cargo, they do not use DO from forwarder, but when they pick up LCL shipment, they has to present DO from forwarder to CFS staff.
furthermore the information shown on shipping line's DO and forwarder's DO has a little bit different (shipper's name
and consignee's name)
