Zhang Enli (b. 1965) is a leading Chinese painter whose oeuvre has gradually developed from visual interpretations of everyday objects to abstraction. His distinctive style-fluid, spontaneous and gestural-draws on bot Eastern and Western painterly traditions. Zhang Enli has exhibited extensively internationally including solo and group exhibitions in Italy, Germany, China, England, Switzerland and the United States. He is currently living and working in Shanghai.
