Love the sofa sleeve, good for you on the hand quilting. Looks the way it should hand quilted, never the same but beautiful and warm in the end. Happy day 3 sleep well
I am obsessed with the couch caddy ❤❤❤ And I’m totally with Darren! A weath the size of Rockefeller Christmas tree 😂😂 The quilt is looking amazing!!!!!
Yay! I agree we should support small businesses, but if we can order from them instead of dealing with ‘Christmas carnage’ then that’s the way I shall proceed hehe
Nice couch caddy. I can’t imagine getting up for work at that time. It was bad enough when I used to get up at 5am! Your husband is right a giant wreath will look amazing.
I think he may want a wreath big enough to sit in like a swing chair 🤣 you do get used to the early starts, although, it creeps up on you around 4pm and you have to fight through hehe
I love the sofa sleeve! That’s such a clever idea! I believe hand quilting should have an organic look to it! If it doesn’t, you may as well use your machine!❤️
Hehe hand work on projects, is definately questionable, I think it’s finding the right application so it’s enjoyable. It has its place too, like being able to EPP in a waiting room or train etc
Loving your hand quilting. I’m with you on the online Christmas shopping. It’s been a few years since I tortured myself with the high street crowds. In saying that, Chris and I are having a day in London next week. I will make an exception to visit the Liberty’s Christmas shop 😲😬😍
I got the Sallie Tomato advent calendar this year and am really pleased with the quality of the items so far (bag hardware, faux leather assortment, and zipper assortment with cute pulls). It was a little pricey, but it's the only one I bought this year. You have been such a great inspiration for bag making, so now I am hooked!
Oooooh I may have to have a look at that one for next year! Sounds like a very good buy, quality items are worth a slightly more premium price, there’s definately been some questionable things in some of the sewing advents over the years, I think consistency across the days is key
Thankyou so much, the advent I had last year was awesome because it was filled with such a selection of artisan products, it just made for a fun advent, because we genuinely had no clue from one day to the next what was going to be in it
Lovely to see progress on the quilt and I wish I could sew as fast as your sofa caddy sewing! I didn’t buy an advent calendar either this year but am enjoying watching the opening vlogs - maybe next year I’ll treat myself. Enjoy your evening x
Rural is the way forward, I get like an itchiness to get out of town centres now after about an hour, it’s odd because I used to live right on the edge of London
awesome work on that sofa tidy Adam, i have a FPP quilt that i am thinking of hand quilting, will be like you not something i do well, but it will get done at some point!
Thanks Renee, I’m really enjoying the slow sew to finish the last added touches of this quilt, the top was a fairly big task and I kinda don’t want to say goodbye and finished to it just yet ☺️
😂 I love your explanation of the Christmas shopping in person experience! So true!
Oh it can be a hideous task, trying to find parking today was unreal lol 😂 in the middle of the day on a weekday! Lovely to hear from you lovely 🥰

Thanks so much, a great way of describing it, I love the texture more than the uniformity of the stitches ☺️
“There’s the Lulu” lol

Rockerfeller sounds the perfect size 😂 sofa caddy maybe a new pattern in progress hehe
Love the caddy. Agree with you about Xmas shopping hate going to busy shopping centres online all the way 😊😊😊

Adam - I can't believe I just saw my gorgeous sofa caddy being made up (at least I think it might be mine)! Thank you again, Jennifer
@@sewsisteranna it sure is ☺️
I love your intro Adam 😁

@ I absolutely love, love your channel!!!!!
@@LauraSup Thankyou so much 🥰 makes it all worth while when you hear people enjoy ☺️☺️
Caddy is gorgeous. I so admire your hand work. Its a 4 letter dirty word in my sewing definitions. Lol

❤❤❤ I love you so much. I agree with you about all the ppl! I respect you so much for not getting am advent calendar. You rock

Thanks Helen, I think next year I may just do my own sort of advent, or possibly look at ordering one of the US ones that are more quilty related
Such beautiful quilting i agree I detest shopping centres i live in a rural area so I shop online anyway enjoy your rest😊😊😊

I find it really fun, it’s fun using thicker more defined thread and stitches, I wouldn’t enjoy it so much with say a 40wt thread
Not a fan about being around crowds of unknowns!I do like you Winnie the Pooh quilt, very lovely! Enjoy holidays and have a great week!
Thanks Renee, I’m really enjoying the slow sew to finish the last added touches of this quilt, the top was a fairly big task and I kinda don’t want to say goodbye and finished to it just yet ☺️
You get up so early! Wow
Hehe it’s weird going to work in daylight now, I feel I’ve lost hours of time that could have been used for the not so fun side of work
All your projects look lovely and fun..Question❤ Hunny not Honey? XOX
Good question, it’s mispelt on purpose to go with the Winnie the Pooh books etc
The Adam Sews adventure calendar is sharing your hand quilting progress on your Winnie the Pooh quilt. 🥰 Happy day 3
