      Thanks so much for the kind words. If work and life buys and bobs didn’t get in the way, I’d be spending more time shooting this and getting to know it better. It’s such a delight to shoot.

    well that’s a stunner mate . i really do like that rifle . oh yes as we well know it’s all about the pellet . especially when shooting that type of comp a mm can make a difference on your score . it still amazes me what difference a pellet can make through a barrel. normal plinking you don’t mind so much but when your trying to shoot a card or one whole groups it certainly does

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for the comment Paul. You’re so right. It’s all about the pellet. I do feel that even though this XTI likes the Rangemaster Sovereigns, there’s a pellet out there I haven’t tried yet which it may like better

    Hi Zuby, pleased your testing all went well. Can only see it getting better & better with use. You did very well with the Bull Run for your first time. It's a stunning rifle and very capable. Nice one

      Thanks for the comment Brandon. All being well this thing will get better and just like trying the Express Diablos you have, I’m
      Sure there’s other pellets out there that it may like better than the Rangemaster Sovereigns. Let’s see. Also thanks for your comment on the Bull Run; hope Keith agrees with Duanne on the score, the it is a good start, which I’m pleased at :)

      I had the same falcon scope maybe I was unlucky but I found it terrible, I used to own a big nikko stirling diamond back which was far superior but its all down to our eyes no doubt, I have had some very expensive scope that to be honest wasn't any better for my eyes than a hawke sidewinder ffp that cost £600 but I love the xti50 what a bit of kit glad your loving it keep up the awesome videos 😊

    Splatter targets are terrible for analyzing group performance. They are really meant for amateurs who want instant gratification.

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  Рік тому +1

      I would agree with the instant gratification thing but as I said, they help with my poor eyesight and more importantly, flipping them over you get to see the grouping on a plain white background, unhindered by the ‘splatter’

    • @M4rkmcc21
      @M4rkmcc21 5 місяців тому

      Or just for fun...you can still see the holes esp if they're all within a 5p piece.

    Air stripper adjustment can help tighten the groups once you find a good pellet

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  Рік тому

      Thanks Glynn. What types of adjustment would you suggest starting with, with the stripper?

    • @Sae-fu5ch
      @Sae-fu5ch Рік тому

      @@zubysan put a 4mm Allen key (the flats) in the opening of stripper so it’s flat against end of barrel and carefully ease the cone so it just touches the other side of the Allen key will give you a great starting point👍

    • @glynnmounce2968

      Move it in 1 mill at a time shoot groups to see what happens or out trial and error I guess

    • @Sae-fu5ch
      @Sae-fu5ch Рік тому

      @@glynnmounce2968 it’s not actually trial and error what your trying to achieve is to get the head of the pellet (widest part) to just enter the cone before the rear of skirt to leave the barrel.

    Lovely rifle but you need to be shooting groups on plain card splatter targets don’t give a true size and its hard to see the edges of the group

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for the comment. I use the splatter targets as it helps with my eyesight at distances beyond 25yards. I’ll do some cards without them for the next video and I’ll see if I can get the score card I did for the bull run, as that had some good practice groups I did

    I've put approx 4k pellets through my XTi-50 now and mine seems to like the lighter pellets, I predominantly shoot 25 yard indoor BR and shot 3 x 250 cards this week with JSB Express 7.87 (Had the week off work 😊)

    Hi mate I commented on your other video with the epic two , but if my budget could stretch to the xti50 over say the redwolf which would you pick ? Tough choice I know !

    • @zubysan
      @zubysan  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi mate. Are you asking about the XTi vs the Red Wolf RD Limited Edition? If so it’s a real tough call because both are amazing. It would have to be try before you buy and also consider one is mechanical and one is electronic. So there’s your preference for which to consider there too…

    • @stuivey1
      @stuivey1 6 місяців тому

      @@zubysan yeah or the standard redwolf. There is so much choice I need to be able test a lot of them out before parting with my hard earned.
