Sure, why not? Experiment with that first. And save for a new pc. Don’t let your tools limit you. Never!

You can do that in Daz. Up to personal preference
I'm guessing you mean headshot plugin with character creator? Both are good options all up to personal preference and where you decide to port your models.

Remember, Daz characters are only free for personal use. Do not use them in commercial projects.
