If they were selling a crappy plastic bracelet for $18 before, does the fact that it doesn't actually have a drop of water in it really make a difference? Just look at all the commenters buying into the whole "it evaporated" lie. They'll do just fine until something else becomes the new cool thing kids need to have.
I have a silicone ball with water inside that I heat in the microwave and use for therapy. Had it 4 years and no water evaporation. Also, if it's water evaporation the mud on the other side would have turned to dirt.
TTV. wizzcrab really? Personally I’d expect a company that bases its ENTIRE PRODUCT around it containing water to use a material that’s a little less permeable. Customers shouldn’t have to EXPECT that it evaporates out.
mySQUAD MERB when you can't even spell silicone correctly, you can't correct me. Especially when the only reason you know silicone is porous is because Lokai put out a statement saying that and giving an excuse to why there's no water in there. You know, mud wouldn't be mud without water. It'd just be dirt. So if you think about it the mud bead wouldn't be mud if silicone was as porous as its said to be. Don't believe everything everyone tells you. Lokai is a rip off. Stop defending those kinds of companies.
Jessica Sage mud keeps the moisture inside of the bead. The company is not actually a bunch of scam artists, however the water is able to evaporate inside of the bead alone and Lokai most likely won't do anything to solve this problem as it would take more money and materials to mass produce the product. There is an entire documentary on their website if you want to see what they have to say about it.
I'm sorry but if I'm paying almost $20 for a bracelet, I don't want the water to be "evaporated" (non-existent) by the time it gets to my door or on my wrist. I'm buying if FOR the water and mud, not just the white and black bead. Dont have on your website that it actually comes with water when it doesn't. Even if it does for a short period of time.
+Paige Kuhnmuench But they can control stating that it won't actually contain any water by the time you get it... Which they don't. It's probably just tap water anyway, so who cares.
+eric george so by your theory if something was there at some point the glory and effects of it will remain? So if a Ferrari was parked in my closed garage and it's not there anymore I can always say a Ferraris there? If only that was how it worked, sweetheart 😊
Yeah if they contained anything that would be the best case scenario, the thing is now that these are still in stock and the company is doing well, now they got bracelets for like make a wish and you buy one for 18$ for them to donate 1$ of it to charity, when you can just donate the 17$ to charity and get a 1$ bracelet made out of the same silicon
Is nobody talking about the fact that they might've used the water during the production, creating the beads with it, not actually having liquid drops of water
+kittyleigh007 They do put water in them, after my sister broke up with her bf she opened the bracelet he got her lol. It had water in the white side and mud in the black bead
erin axani ohhh ok. Thank you for the clarity! 😊 I just don’t think so.... it’s either that or I have too much faith in people😂 I don’t know if people can tell from my UA-cam videos, but it’s true.

"it's the thought that counts", nah man. if im paying $18+ dollars for a bracelet there better be some freakin water drops from mt everest in there ahaha. you can project a thought onto literally anything, why not just tie a shoelace around your wrist?

you really think a company would travel to the top of Everest and bring back ice anyway? Hell no that'd be expensive as f***. I bet they just grab some dirt from outside the factory
Keith Gass I mean they could do it. And there’s a difference between the dirt from the Dead Sea and normal dirt. I’ve been to the Dead Sea and it is a lot darker than normal. And authentic Loki’s are like $20
Keith Gass Well if they don’t get the ice from Everest or dirt from the red sea then why do they say that the bracelets include that? False advertisment.
It can't actually do that unless it connects to your brain stuff things...to tired to use fancy terms, but altogether it would be to dangerous. It has a special (and I think toxic) liquid that changes color based on the temperature, so if your hot, it might turn red, and on the thing it comes with it might say red means angry. I
That doesnt mean anything. What do you think evaporation is? If it evaporated then the water vapor would still be in the bead and it would eventually condense back into liquid water after it was cold enough. Also, theres salt in the water, so even if the water evaporated and escaped the bead the salt would still be left behind.
most of the time, when a company claims they're supporting a foundation, it's just a reason to get you to buy the product. a miniscule amount of what you're paying actually goes to the cause you think you're donating to. just donate directly, or at least find a smaller business that is transparent about what portion of the proceeds go to charity.
+Daisyandmoonpie I thought that they used the water to make the material of the bracelet too, but if you watched the whole vid they read from the makers´ web and there was literally stated "the water is injected inside the bead".

I hate the fact that companies are thriving over people holding on to something as meaningless as water or dirt from someplace that has no actual significance to them. Do you want something to look up to at your lowest points. Look up to the friends and family that your blessed to have in your life. Look up to the people fighting for the country that you’re living in. All this company is doing is telling you to look at their bracelets for Inspiration, When you can focus your energy on what inspires you in the world around you
"I hate the fact that companies are thriving over people holding on to something as meaningless as water or dirt from someplace that has no actual significance to them." That about sums up the human race
This is good. I hope you crushed and dismantled their whole company and reputation for lying to people. Just another company that took advantage of someone's hope and belief and used it as a typical marketing ploy. Shame on Lokai.
+Tony BearJug silicone is a sealant, to prevent water from passing through. Water couldn't evaporate from inside a sealed bead. Certainly not co poetry and not 100% of the time. Don't trust the FAQ from the same company that's scamming you. And, even if that were true, then they need to use a different material, rather than shipping out empty beads with a flimsy excuse.
+MarkRiverbank but the knife cleaarly had small droplets of water on it... how is it a coincidence there was mud inside each and every one but no water in the others..
Vasiliki Pappas The original were knockoffs to begin with... I think the point was atleast he got cheaper knockoffs rather than the expensive knockoffs lol
Perhaps some steps to counter that evaporation, for example containing the water inside a glass bead, would make the product more genuine. Because a bracelet that is sold on the basis of containing water, which then does NOT contain water, for whatever reason, is a defective product. I like your carefully worded legal disclaimer, and the link to a "much cheaper knockoff version" - which, since neither bracelet contains any water, should work at least half as well as the original! XD
Idk, in teh first one, I definitely SAW liquid come out. I think there is water in them, because the blade came away with a strand of wetness on ALL of the bracelets. But, I think some of it had evaporated, so much so that it was just residual moisture left in them. And, water doesn't just evaporate based on time. The reason time evaporates water is because of exposure to air. Which it's not really getting in a silicon/e bead. However, TEMPERATURE can affect it in there. If excessive heat happened, it basically cooked the water out.
+Spencer Scott I don't really want to get into an argument, however... the correct terminology is quote unquote or end quote. Simply ending the quote or remark.
it says the white bead is “infused” with water and the black one “contains” mud so idk how it’s infused with water fr but i guess they never really claimed it had water in it
I think judging wether or not someone is a terrible father by whether or not he lets his kid keep a bracelet is the reason new generations are growing up to be such weaklings. Like damn let the guy teach his kid not to be so attached to material possessions.
I ordered an original Loki before hey blew up. I ordered mine in the mail and it took a couple weeks. broke like 4 weeks after. decided to cut it open to see if it truly had water and it did. guess its just a sham now.
There was clearly not going to be water in the camo one, I don't understand why you cut it open anyway when you could have made your son happy and just let him keep it...
I bought the $5 off-brand Lokai from 5 below, and there was water and mud in it (but the water and mud probably weren't from the places they said they got them)
the silicone type known as polydimethylsiloxane (which is used in the bracelet) allows for evaporation. (water permeates throughout the porous seal of the water)
Guys. Read. That's all it takes. The white bead is INFUSED with the water, not filled. Meaning the silicone of the white bead itself was made with the water.
go to mylokai.com and watch the "what's inside the white and black beads" video under the help section...they say and show that the water and mud are both actually injected into the beads, and then the hole is sealed
Perhaps the water isn't *in* the bead, but in the material it's made of? It does say it "carries" it, and if the bracelet somehow breaks you wouldn't want the water to fall out.
In reality they didn't put water in because they always want you to be at the lowest point in your life.

That doesnt mean anything. What do you think evaporation is? If it evaporated then the water vapor would still be in the bead and it would eventually condense back into liquid water after it was cold enough.

"I hate the fact that companies are thriving over people holding on to something as meaningless as water or dirt from someplace that has no actual significance to them." That about sums up the human race
wtf
If Lincoln wanted the camo bracelet he should have been allowed to keep it!
If u paid $18 for it than it's worth keeping it
CUZ STUDIOS flabbergaster boy and unicorn girl read the video discription
CUZ STUDIOS flabbergaster boy and unicorn girl read the description first before you comment
CUZ STUDIOS flabbergaster boy and unicorn girl READ THE DESCRIPTION
CUZ STUDIOS flabbergaster boy and unicorn girl they are rich they can buy plenty more if he wants them
the company got busted
how
It did? But aren't they still making them?
The silicone itself is made from it. There is water in it.
+Destiny Hatfield is that the bs they told everyone to save their asses
+Destiny Hatfield I agree with you, they think that it's literally going to have water in it.
THE WATER WOULD HAVE EVAPORATED OH MY GOD
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SOAKED UP BY THE SILICONE
Yea that's not how evaporation works in a silicone ball.
+Kennedy McCarthy silicone isn't absorbent
water doesn't evaporate in silicone.
yall are dumb as hell water won't evaporate in a closed system and silicone doesn't absorb water. educate yourselves
The water evaporated, don’t even argue with me
Na
Water is not going through silicone
i love how you turned such a simple idea into such a cool UA-cam channel, keep it up guys love the work
+Gucci mane Thank you!
+What's Inside? Why'd you delete my comment about what's inside an etch a sketch
bro they exploded i remeber just 2 months ago they werent at 600k
This is good. I hope you crushed and dismantled their whole company and reputation for lying to people. Just another company that took advantage of someone's hope and belief and used it as a typical marketing ploy. Shame on Lokai.
Agree on that , Man in 5 bracelets not a single drop just another company trying to fetch money from unknowing people
I don't think its a scam. Maybe something happened to the water
+Jariel Melendez It's not there it just looks like its there. I'm sure they looked at the knife really closely off camera.
I think that I saw water on the blade.
me too but I wasn't sure
+Long QT (Vocaloid1998) I think it's just from the silicon's slimy new texture. Especially when cut open.
+James UnicornLover
Or maybe the water soaked into the silicone, since it's POROUS.
***** Sorry I didn't do my research on Silicone.
No, I'm just theorizing, since the videp said it was porous, and because of the short time they had the bracelets for so short.
Why didn’t he cut open the clear beads? xx
Right
LOL poor kid, really wanted to keep that bracelet..
He got it read the description 😊.
Vasiliki Pappas
The original were knockoffs to begin with...
I think the point was atleast he got cheaper knockoffs rather than the expensive knockoffs lol
Mochaka Boom Lol true😂 but I'm pretty sure the originals were legit lokais. He said he ordered them directly from the website :)
+Mochaka Boom 😂
Lol not like they dont have enough money 😝
when i saw the ppl in the mud, i thought "BLURRYFACE!"
truu😂😂🌚
|-/
|-/
my name is blurryface and i care what you think

Perhaps some steps to counter that evaporation, for example containing the water inside a glass bead, would make the product more genuine. Because a bracelet that is sold on the basis of containing water, which then does NOT contain water, for whatever reason, is a defective product. I like your carefully worded legal disclaimer, and the link to a "much cheaper knockoff version" - which, since neither bracelet contains any water, should work at least half as well as the original! XD
+Fledhyris Proudhon Good comment.
Yeah
+What's Inside? Thanks! :)
EXACTLY
Yeahhh..until I saw this I thought that the beads were glass..thats so bad
Idk, in teh first one, I definitely SAW liquid come out. I think there is water in them, because the blade came away with a strand of wetness on ALL of the bracelets. But, I think some of it had evaporated, so much so that it was just residual moisture left in them.
And, water doesn't just evaporate based on time. The reason time evaporates water is because of exposure to air. Which it's not really getting in a silicon/e bead. However, TEMPERATURE can affect it in there. If excessive heat happened, it basically cooked the water out.
so now it represents how the lowest moments are real, and the highest are false hope and not real
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
9LilLuke9 story of my life
just like real life! amazing
9LilLuke9
So true
Water can eventually dry up, you know. It probably soaked through or dried up.
I'm sure there was once water in there.
+Anna Bjorklund there was but it evaporated but I guess they didn't think of that
Thank you!!!!! Jeez!! 💜💜that's exactly what I was thinking!!!
plus they said they got the 2 weeks before
Ordered 2 weeks before
Some dirt and tap water wrapped in silicon costing a total of 18 cents sells for $18 plus the fakes for 99 cents are just as good.
Quote unquote fakes
+Deen Kaakour quote on quote*
+Spencer Scott I don't really want to get into an argument, however... the correct terminology is quote unquote or end quote. Simply ending the quote or remark.
+Deen Kaakour ikr like wtf?
+rdizzy1 So what? Dirt and water are both rather plentiful, not sure why I'd want to wear either or pay $18 for a drop of each.
it says the white bead is “infused” with water and the black one “contains” mud so idk how it’s infused with water fr but i guess they never really claimed it had water in it
Glorified tap water bracelet along with some fine, 50% filtered playground sand
There isn't even water in it, so they cheaped out on that too
+Aaron Keith there wasn't suppose to be dumbass💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩😡😡😡
+Karen Blackstone Could you explain before you insult me?
+I'm Nubby except there was no water or sand....
Probibly true
An ad for these bracelets popped up before this video 😂
Same 😁😁😁
I saw that add too. 😂
+Allyssa Valdez me toooooooo
I saw it to
I SAW THAT TO
What a terrible farther the kid really wanted the camo bracelet, UA-cam is more important than your son 😑
+The Marination I got lincoln a cheaper came bracelet, so he is all good!
+What's Inside? you could have given him that one and use the cheaper one to open not destroy😒
Honestly the dad seems kind of douchey to me 😒
+Haley Perry the kid doesn't care. He gets a cool bracelet and he's happy. At least he doesn't brag about it
I think judging wether or not someone is a terrible father by whether or not he lets his kid keep a bracelet is the reason new generations are growing up to be such weaklings.
Like damn let the guy teach his kid not to be so attached to material possessions.
am i the only one watching this in 2019?!
Alexandra Swall nope
Nope
Not at all
Nope I watching it right now
No
I ordered an original Loki before hey blew up. I ordered mine in the mail and it took a couple weeks. broke like 4 weeks after. decided to cut it open to see if it truly had water and it did. guess its just a sham now.
Plot twist: The mud is from their back yard.
+Sydney Thoele What water?
plot twist its chocolate pudding mix.
+Kimsea Chea
plot twist... its poop. lol
from their toilet bowl
+0prahTV you'd think they could have filled the water bead too, while they were there.
I laughed so hard when the ad I saw was Loaki
OMG SAME XD
+Kate Lewis xD
Same lol =p
Same!!
me too
Could the tiny amount of water have soaked into the silicone?
he shouldve let him keep the camo one
+Brandy_ Lizet Don't worry, I got him one ; )
+What's Inside? wink
omg you guys litterally need to know that water is almost always found in the clear beeds
you didn't even open the mud part
+HeyNah❤ Yes we did. Watch the entire video. There was mud in all 5 of the bracelets.
+What's Inside? The water is inside the colourful beeds... not the white one. And yes, I watched the whole video :)
+Josefine S yah it is in the colar part of the bracelet
+HeyNah❤ The website of the bracelet clearly states that, the water is located in the center of the white silicone bead.
I think they didn't add water because mold would grow in the white bead
Toxic Monkey but water was promised
gerard way is a dinøsaur
well hello, killjoy
Breadbin Stoomp hello
There’s no oxygen for the bacteria to grow
gerard way is a dinøsaur also truee
The reason the white didn’t have water in is because it evaporated in the warm weather because it’s used to the cold
It cannot evaporate when there is silicon around it????
There was clearly not going to be water in the camo one, I don't understand why you cut it open anyway when you could have made your son happy and just let him keep it...
He bought him a new one
It's not like it's the last one on Earth
so true
+Lizzie McGee how do you know that though
They make a fortune from cutting things open. They could buy tons of camo ones with this one video. He's fine
Weird, the ad before the video was about lokai bracelets!
I know it gives it away
Same that's was my ad as well
same
same
ye
I bought the $5 off-brand Lokai from 5 below, and there was water and mud in it (but the water and mud probably weren't from the places they said they got them)
who else is here in 2019? Lincolns's voice changed sm!!
Annabel Wang here
Maybe the silicone was made with water
Foxy ._. Thats what i presumed too
Yes it is I work for Lola I
Foxy ._. No in the video when they went on the official website, the company themselves stated they inject water into the center of the silicone ball
I see deku 😭👀 and yea that’s what I thought
Foxy ._. It can’t be
Can you make what's that in side of the battery?
That's actually quite dangerous and toxic.
+Tiffany Tran ARMY. :3 Taeeee
+Zombie Killer HI ARMYS
+Tiffany Tran ARMY here too ^^
ARMMYYYYYY LOVE YOU GUYS
if you guys live in a hot place the water may have evaporated
+Rylie.J__ _ It is below freezing here in Utah where we live.
+What's Inside? lol freezing never felt that i live in florida
+What's Inside? I live in Utah too! Awesome!!!
there silicon water would stay in it
lol how does it evaporate in Silicon beads
I’m enjoying how many people have found different ways to misspell “evaporated”.
ikr! they put a lokai ad before a video about cutting them open!
yea
Yah
Got the same ad
Me too
I didnt get the ad
I literally got an ad for Lokai before this video!

Cloudy 1 ily
sarah smylie
to bad
sarah smylie just watch it diys by D.I.Y.s with iwy homemade lokai bracelets
How would it evaporate when it's in a container IN A BOW
BOX*
+lucy petrova it's silacone
+Neon. Lovin that twinkie Doge
+Cf Productions no it was silicone.
Good you corrected it*
the silicone type known as polydimethylsiloxane (which is used in the bracelet) allows for evaporation.
Jordan Wade dude mad cred
Perhaps the water isn't *in* the bead, but in the material it's made of? It does say it "carries" it, and if the bracelet somehow breaks you wouldn't want the water to fall out.
