My question is how did you use a 12-inch block for height? You put the block under the board, and the height has to be 12 inches to the top of the board on the back. I like the method, but don't see how the boards would be the right height. Please answer as I would like to try your method to save myself some time, thanks.
I’d say on this scenario I should have used a block that was 11.5”. The top was 1/2”, so technically the way I did it, the board would have been 12.5” off the ground. I simply put the block in from the bottom of the table to inside the banding, resting at the top back of the board.
I do not have a way to get my ends perfectly round. I traces the circle then cut 45 degree off and sanded the rest. Will it be functional? I do not need it perfect
No, it doesn’t need to be perfect. You just need it to not hit the bottom side of the top. When you rotate it around, it may catch the top as you put the leg out.
I'm going to use your method today as I build my first set of boards. Thank you!
Glad I could help!
His boards will chip out. you should use mine. email me and I'll walk you through it.
Great job!

@@owlsnestsolutions9082 thanks I was looking for an easier way but still good info!!
What angles are the legs cut at

How long are the legs before you cut the angle?
Good question. I can’t recall exactly, but I’d say 16-18”.
What size bolt did you use?
4" 3/8s carriage bolts work great.
I’m pretty sure that’s what I used. 3/8 has plenty of strength for this project.
Heig"TH" really grinds my gears
Sorry your gears are ground. I still hope the video helped!
@@owlsnestsolutions9082 lol. Thank you
@@msm624 maybe I should work on a video to replace gears that have been ground. 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
10/16.
Why not just cut your cross support to the correct length and attach it to both legs ? It’s just a corn hole board!
Fair point! You do you, boo!
What size bolt did you use?
I think I used a 3/8” bolt that was 2.5” or 3”.
