I've been through a chaotic hard time myself and now that the dust is settling I'm feeling like I can return to making content again too. I'm glad you are doing well and I hope you find fulfillment and success on the road ahead.

Welcome back, Madame! I'm sorry to hear what you've been through, this whole situation has been a big stress mess for everyone I'm sure, but I'm glad to hear you're doing what you like most again! I am excited for whatever comes next from you, and I hope you can be excited for it too!
As someone who has struggled with clinical depression, you kick its ass!
I understand feeling like something is missing. During the "Pandemonium" I was overwhelmed trying to help keep our business afloat. We didn't suffer as much as others in our industry and that is part due to a loyal client base but also all of us putting in 170% non stop. Running on fumes most of the time.
During this period I rediscovered my love of archery and dove way back into it. I never really paid attention to the fine tuning of it but I am now because I find that aspect fun too. But being out in the woods and taking the time to unplug. I think your taking a break from social media is good, the problem was it was brought on by a sense of trying to find something you thought was missing. So in a way I understand that sense of rediscovery. Finding yourself again. I love my job, it's an artistic outlet for me, but having that passion outside of it helps keep me from burn out.

We’re all here for you, Katie. I’ve gone from a $2k per week job to $15/hr in the last 2 years because of both covid and a bad mental episode that ultimately made me move back to my home turf in Southeast Texas. I’m still struggling to figure out what the hell my place in this world is. I had a high paying job for a brief time, but i was still nearly suicidal... now i’m back home working for pennies by comparison trying to find my way back to the man i always wanted to be. To any whom read this, I support you and wish you nothing but the best in whatever you are striving for. You’re worth it, and you deserve a good life. Godspeed, all! ❤️
I went through a very similar situation recently, through the misery of the past two years I realized that what was missing from my life was my writing. I decided to return to it after about three years of not doing it. I already wrote one full chapter and I’m starting to feel things are slowly getting better.

I missed you, but I figured life must have gotten in the way and you’d be back when it settled down. I’m glad you’re back now and you’re doing better! People really don’t talk enough about the trauma that all of us have experienced throughout this time. No one is unscathed. Thank you for sharing your experience. I think it really helps when people open up to each other when they’re experiencing pain, especially from a shared event.
Its understanding the struggles many go through, and we're just glad you managed to find yourself again. We love you and we hope you keep doing what you love. Even if things go dark, light will always come again.

Glad to hear you got through the rough times, we all need a break from our normal lives to sort ourselves out, sometimes it makes us appreciate the life we have and other times it helps us realise what we really need to be happy but it is rarely an easy journey.
As a fellow sufferer of depression I know how hard the struggle must have been and am really proud of you for staying strong and coming out of this with renewed energy and confidence, just remember you're not alone and when things feel like they're going bad you have people who will listen and will help and be there for you. Stay strong and like you said "we can get through this together".

This was actually really helpful, because I don't think I've found that kind of outlet that is right for me yet so I'm still just kind of coasting along trying to be human, which is so hard lol. I'm currently going through that spiral. Things weren't hard when they first shut down, for me, it's been the progressing time with things STILL LIKE THIS, along with my horrible living situation that I can no longer escape from. I'm glad macabre could pull herself out of something, hearing stories like this inspires and pushes me to do so as well. Wishing everyone the best. Stay happy and safe out there.
I completely understand macabre saying she'd lose her mind without a creative outlit. I completely agree.

I had to work office jobs I hated in my 20s, and delivery for the last 20 years which left me next to no time to live the lifestyle I really want to live just to keep a roof over my head. I was just checking in on you again because I have been actually watching your content for literal years (I grew up with you in my life and honestly you helped me through so much growing up even though we never met. (for reference I was around for the P.O. Box videos and your original stories about a doctor I loved.(I'm sure you know the one XD) ) I absolutely admire your strength and your ability to get through this rough time! As someone that has been going through a lot I understand how hard it is to honestly open up about these things! Not only as a creator but as a person, a normal daily person. It’s so crazy because in hindsight it’s obvious the depression was directly linked to the world being turned upside down. But for whatever reason my brain decided it ABSOLUTELY had to be social media making me so unhappy and I just stuck with that narrative and almost totally derailed my life 😩 Glad I figured it out before it was too late

But in reality People think that they are the worst but, somehow it's hard trying to get back to past self like, dont try to believe that when someone tries to make you feel better it doesn't mean that you have to believe that, not the fact that people dont show that they are in depresion, it's the fact that they refuse to say what they actually feel

I've been feeling like that for about 2 years. I work at part time job feeling unhappy, I thinking if I make enough money I'll quit my job and do some voice acting on UA-cam. But I felt like I'm stuck living in a routine and feeling miserable everyday. Now seeing your video helped encourage me to do the things that makes me happy, do voice acting contents.

I was going through a similar art deprived state during the pandemic (my main medium was acting so that kinda got shut down during the pandemic) and it was horrible. I’m just glad things are getting better and starting to open up again

I get how it is to lose yourself. I stopped doing my art, music, and videos for a long time. I was burnt out and hurting from the pandemic and other life stuff. Art was my necessity. I needed it to feel okay. Like you, I figured that out eventually and began my thing again. I found myself once more and was so much happier than when I stopped.
It’s seriously hard!! The pandemic broke so many of our spirits and finding ourselves again has been such a process!

Second I can understand depression....I gave fought it since I was 6years old that's almost 20 years now.....I wont go into details but about 2 ish weeks ago I had the worst relapse involving my depression I have ever had and it resulted in me getting stitches. I dont really have any friends online or real life so I cant say how well it helps but I have been struggling amd I am even still fighting giving up writing on wattpad which I love but like you I'm having that "what's the point?" Mind set so dont give up....I'm not entirely sure I havent already given up but.....a lot of people look up to you. So keep up the good work amd I hope you cherish the friends you have. I'll try to hold on but....I'm not so sure.
But my one question is.....how do you keep going when almost no one even notices your working?

Hey Madame I know this video was a coupke days ago but i thought i might comment anyway. Hehe anways I feel ya madame. I went through something similar. I hit that all time low and now im climbing my way back up. Yeah there are some obstacles but what is life without the obstacles. Hehe. I always go by the motto "its gets worse before it can get better" and i feel it helps know that even though im in a rough spot right now ill make it out if i just hold my head high and keep climbing. The past two years have been some of the worst for me too. Last year people who I thought were my friends encouraged me to commit suicide when they found out that various conditions make me unable to wear a mask, unable to get vaxxed, and unable to self-isolate.
