I'm already 60+years old I'm not really fluent in English I want to learn because until now I want to have a conversation to others thank you Mr Thiago
This is my first time to listening English with Thiago UA-camr when I listened 2 episodes I realize the episode is really good to me and also very friendly to English learner as well. Actually I am struggling with my English learning for many years, I think my English is between B1 and B2 level but I want to improve my level to C1 or C2 but I don’t know how to improve it. Thanks god I found this English with Thiago, I really happy to learn English with Thiago I hope I could join the private class❤🎉.
Because you listen more than speak;you are building your comprehensible skills without speaking, is similar that you have a book of how to drive a car -you read it ,and you can answer any questions about driving, but you can't drive in the real life. I have the same problem.
I am a Japanese university student. Your talk always helps me study English. And I am surprised that without spending money, you got almost completing English skills. I really respect you and try to become like you!
is inexplicable the power of this video , i am Sixteen years old , I'm from uruguay , and i see your video At the final with no subtitles, this Is my small victory , thank you for this
I am 15 years old and I have A2-B1 level and I understood maybe 70 % of this video! This is my small victory) I hardly ever watching a long videos, but your history was so interesting for me!! Thanks for sharing, it's so motivated! (And thank you for subtitles)
Hello Thiago, I have just listened to your whole podcast - I arrived here by accident or unintentionally due to the Google algorithm. I am a native English speaker (I was born just outside the London conurbation area {literally 250 metres outside}). I listened because I thought you might have offered ideas for my ongoing journeys into both Spanish & French. You did. Can I first very much congratulate you on your proficiency in English. I would certainly score you as a C2 speaker. For what it's worth, although I _can_ tell you're not a native speaker, I _could not_ determine your native language until you stated you're Brazilian. *WELL DONE!* You have given me some food for thought in what you explained about your studies which I shall try to employ as tactics for myself. Just like you, since taking up learning Spanish, I've not been out of this country at all to go anywhere - so I practice with natives here in the UK whenever or wherever I can find some and get the opportunity. The advice I'd pass onto your students and followers is to quote Winston Churchill; quite simply - *Never give up, **_never EVER give up!_* Little by little every day, you'll get there eventually - but don't forget to enjoy the journey and laugh at the mistakes too. Although I currently speak neither French nor Spanish as well as you do English, becoming proficient in both has opened a lot of opportunities for me here in the UK just liaising with European companies who want to market their goods here (I have yet to approach the Central & South Americas). It has been worth the investment timewise and I will concur that I also derive great satisfaction in being able to read and / or understand quite complicated ideas written or spoken in both Spanish & French. _Puedo hacerlo & Je peux le faire!_ Keep it up & best wishes.

Hi Thiago! I'm Japanese living in Australia. I'm currently stuck at the B2 level, and it's really frustrating that I can't express my thoughts even though I can understand others most of the time. Instead of blaming myself for my lack of English skills, I realized I needed to celebrate my small victories in everyday life. Thank you for the great reminder! Hello, I just found your podcast through RealLifeEnglish. The first 20 minutes of your video, described my journey as a English learner. LOl. First, I studied by my self for years, then I started to study English formally in order to be a teacher. Now, my process of english acquisition is different and I keep learning and practice everyday. I think I still have a lot ro learn, but I'm in a place that I'm not afraid anymore to make mistakes. And it's one of the most incredible things, among others, that I've noticed in the process of learning English.. Thanks for sharing your story.
I've always lived in Mexico and went to college to learn English, but what really worked for me was having conversations with myself anywhere. Hi Thiago! I've finished listening to your podcast. I love it. Your video is inspiring! I'm at level A2 according to the CEFR. My goal for this year is to reach B1 by December, I hope! Every single day, I record my voice speaking in English, and I watch movies and TV shows with subtitles. Sometimes I use English subtitles instead of Portuguese. I started watching with English subtitles about a week ago. My goal with English is to be understood by native speakers when I talk, and I also want to understand them when they speak
After your video I have intention to immerse in English more. You inspire and invigorate me not to give up in spite of challenges and obstacles. Thank you for uploading your podcasts! 😊

Hi Thiago! First of all, I'm a subscriber to the channel "RealLife English", but I didn't know this channel of yours. You're one of my inspirations to become fluent in English. I practice every day, I love grammar rules by the way and I try to become better at them. Last but not least. I really appreciate the knowledge you share with us!
Glad to know you love grammar rules. I've always loved studying grammar as well. And I can tell you study grammar because your comment was really well written. Great job and keep it up!
Congratulations on the video, I'm Brazilian too and I really enjoyed your experience. The caption with the yellow color moving from word to word helps a lot with understanding, I watch a lot of videos with the caption on UA-cam, but this one was the best. Being able to understand almost the entire video. Successes.

Teacher Thiago, congratulations! As a Brazilian I am proud of you. Your story moved me, and I'm sure it will be a model for many students - not just English - to seek and achieve their dreams. I'm already your fan.
I'm Brazilian, I've been studying English for a year and a half and I say that sometimes it’s a mix of good and bad feelings, it’s very challenging to learn a second language. After hearing your story, I was more motivated to continue studying. Thanks !
This was very good! I just want to tell you as a native English speaker that your English is very good. You pronunciation is very good, and doesn't really have the usual characteristics of that of a native Portuguese speaker. I believe that people will benefit from this podcast, and I wish you success. Your story was really interesting too. I'm learning Spanish on my own now at 47, and I can relate to a lot of what you experienced! The internet is truly a great thing for language learning. There has never been a better time to try to learn a second language.
Thank you, Thiago, for sharing your story with us. I will follow your advice, experiences, and lessons learned in order to become bilingual like you in one year.

Thiago, you remind me, I'm 30 now, I realized I like english since I was 6 years, and all my life I had english around me because of my dad, he was listening music in english and reading books, I'm glad I have my dad influence, now I can speak with native people, I have conversational english level, I'm trying to get a job as a customer service and I know I will, glad that I found your channel, congrats from Peru.
This was a very inspiring podcast, thank you for sharing this with us. I’m still learning English (I’m from Mexico), and hearing your story is so full of messages like ‘if I can do this, you can too. But work for it. Don’t give up”.
Hi Thiago! I love this kind of sucess cases like yours! I admire you even more being from a different country (like ours) in South America. I'm an English teacher from Colombia and I started learning since I was 19
Hi Thiago, I agree with every word you're saying, and our english-learning journeys have been very much alike. I remember back in 2006 I used icq to find english and german speaking friends to practice those languages. And I did find some great people, and we're still in touch today ☺ I'd also grab any opportunity I had to speak to foreigners, not just to practice my English, it was simply fun and exciting😋 I'm happy I've found you. I feel like your podcast can encourage me to keep on advancing my skills coz I feel like I'm stuck.

First of all I would like to thank you very much for the greatest video that I have watched on UA-cam platform of how we become fluent in English. Second of all, I would like to interduce myself, My name is Basil and I am form Saudi Arabia. Therefore, as an English learner as a second language I am so proud of myself that I understood the whole video or the podcast with my own inputs and to be more clear I have been learning English for many years like 4 years ago until now. However, here you have a new subscriber in your channel 😃. So I would like to thank you again for your efforts.

Keep following the videos here because I'm sure you will learn something new every time. And if you need any help with something more specific, leave a comment here on the channel. I'm always reading them. Best wishes!

I really liked your learning story, it really motivates me to continue learning!
Saludos desde México 🇲🇽
Saludos! Glad you found it helpful!
After your video I have intention to immerse in English more. You inspire and invigorate me not to give up in spite of challenges and obstacles.

Successes.

I'm Brazilian, I've been studying English for a year and a half and I say that sometimes it’s a mix of good and bad feelings, it’s very challenging to learn a second language. After hearing your story, I was more motivated to continue studying. Thanks !
I from Brazil, I always watched you in oder canal, congratulations for your new journey! I adoroble your content!🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much! Keep following both channels!
A Hello from brazil and we wish all sucess for you also!

And I did find some great people, and we're still in touch today ☺ I'd also grab any opportunity I had to speak to foreigners, not just to practice my English, it was simply fun and exciting😋
I'm happy I've found you.

This is my first time watching your channel and I'm gonna start to follow it from now on , thank you you gave me a push to start over 👏👏👏
