As a preschool provider for kids of African Heritage I am always looking for content expressing our Africaness to kids in a positive a light. My goal is that kids are very proud of their heritage. Thank YOU! :)
Thank you all for your comments and words of appreciation. This was achieved with the efforts of a lot of people and contributions. With this words of encouragement, it can only get better....As I have promised earlier, more would be coming soon.....watch out!!!
Thank you very much for uploading this. I am learning Yoruba with my children and so far I appreciate how all of the stories we've been listening to have morals. Growing up in america I didn't hear too many morals like these in childhood stories. Ese pupo!
This is interesting and brings back good old childhood memories. I do wish you can continue to share more folktales, sadly most of us have forgotten all the wonderful stories. Thank you
Thank you very much for uploading this terrific cartoon. For a nonspeaker, your English subtitles are really helpful. ...I just found this from a Google search for the Yoruban turtle equivalent of Anansi (Jamaican 'Anancy'). I was confusing him with the kingdom of Ijebu! This is how badly I needed your subtitles. I'm looking forward to seeing what else you've done by way of adapting the traditional stories to this medium.
