@@xenonixsar512 Technically, because she performed this on May 12th 2019. She turned 15 two weeks later. She was 14 the first year of You are Super...Derniere Danse, It's a Man's World, Rechenka and Tomorrow is a Lie. The Grand Prix (second year) was Blizzard, Wicked Game and Human in the finals..

High whistle notes are impressive but personally I prefer lower register because it fills the empty space that high whistle notes can tend to leave. She has a extremely rich, unique, amazing lower register. She's able to lower her tongue down her laryngth to give this rich sound. I don't know if you noticed that her mouth is wide open to give air to her voice that's why she sounds airy.

Greetings from Scotland! Pretty good pronunciation Debbie! 😊 The words you were looking for is "polyphonic overtone" vocal ability. It sometimes sounds like she has multiple tones, or voices coming out of her mouth! This is a natural ability that Diana has always had. Anyhow, this was *15yo* Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You're Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because, as you know, Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo.This was an early example of how she can completely transform a well known song and make it her own song!
Diana once said in a TV interview "In principle, if you don't sing with your soul, you probably don't sing".
THIS is singing with your soul - for sure! Actually, Diana didn't properly understand what the song lyrics meant, but she seems to have an ability to be able to interpret any lyrics just as the writer meant them to be! Unique, beautiful and super talented! She turned 20 years old on 31st May incidentally, so this was nearly 5 years ago! (May 12, 2019)

Not match, but equal. The Chris Isaak version has better guitar and backing vocals from his band, after all, he did write it. However, Diana's solo voice is both unique and superior. I have been listening to the Chris Isaak version for over 30 years and Diana's for 5 years, I love them both.
