There is a mod where you can blueprint your builds and copy/paste them into other maps. You might want to look into it in case an update ruins the save, then you can just load a new map and place your base back down. I can't remember what its called but it won't be hard to find, i used to use it and its awesome because you never have to lose your best builds and can place them anywhere and as many as you want.
