Just so that you are aware, we are currently in the process of developing new lock/latches that will be retrofittable to all EVO series SmartCap models and will address the issues some customers in colder climates are having. However, those will not be fully in production until later this year. In the interim, a dealer of ours made us aware of existing lock/latch covers which have proven to greatly reduce the freezing latch issues brought on by cold climate conditions. We have procured as many as were available, in order to assist owners experiencing these issues. Please use the "Contact Us" link on our website to request some. We have a limited amount, and are distributing them on a first-come, first-serve basis, until the supply is gone. If we run out before you get them, they will add your name to a list for future distribution (should we be able to replenish our supply).
When you say "fit", what are you referring to? We know that our caps have a more boxy look, and don't follow the lines of the truck exactly as a fiberglass cap might. But we think they enhance the sturdy stance of most of the trucks that we build them for.
