I almost feel a bit sad that you are leaving behind such a wonderful place and more importantly your friends and family as a sacrifice so that you can be with your hubby to be. I hope he will greatly appreciate your presence with him and what you have given up to enable it. It sucks you cannot freely return or come and go as that would lessen the pain of being so far away. I will really miss your videos of Russia which I have come to love and appreciate from you. While I am an American and love my country, it has changed a lot since covid and not for the better. I would love to visit Russia some day and see some of the amazing places you have shown us. I wish you safe travels. Your girlfriend from Emirates is a real beauty.

The World Bank just released their quarterly report on the economic status of major countries, rating Russia's economy as one of the few "Highest" growing economies in the world! If you went there and could see for yourself, you would not have written such disinformation. My Russian wife and adult daughter are from Russia and currently live in Moscow. So I know firsthand what is fact from fiction. Stop watching CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, MSNBC, PBS, etc. because you won't understand the real truth of Russia by listening to our lying media!

USA is not just NYC or LA. There’s plenty of other places. I’m living in Kansas City. Super clean city and overall pretty much quiet and safe place. I moved to USA two years ago from Serbia and I didn’t regret. I can afford far more here. With my salary in Serbia I can afford one big nothing
California and New York provide the most money to the federal pot, often funding the subsidies for poorer rural red states. The population is much bigger, so therefore there is more homeless and whatnot. But if you look at things per capita, California and New York is the wealthiest states of all. Crime has reach a record low recently compared to before. Maybe there's no crime in rural America because not many people live there.
And yet people risk their lives everyday to get to America from their countries…..hmmm, definitely isn’t the other way around.

I would love to visit St Petersburg. It looks absolutely beautiful. Was quite close to there a few weeks ago in Tallinn, Estonia and enjoyed that city immensely. But, as an American, Estonia is about as close as we can get to Russia presently. It’s interesting to see the common kinship in all humanity regardless of demographic backgrounds. You’ll do fine in the US and hoping you find happiness while being away from home for such a long time. If you get a wild hair, come to Texas for a most “howdy” welcome.
I think, at least until recently, such cities as St Petersburg or Vladivostok had electronic visas or no visa requirements for up to two weeks for more than 50 nations. But yes,
the US is not among them. Still, I am not sure if an American cannot apply and get a Russian visa.
