I'm a new player. Been going to my local TCG shop and I've been playing online. And I must say I have no clue what most of these decks are. The learning process has been enjoyable and frustrating. Thank you for educating me more and more with each video
Unfortunately I had something come up last minute so im out for Toronto. Planned on playing Miraidon RegiVmax with a 3 Judge & 1 Luxray V vs Charizard & Control. I also find this build is better vs Miraidon Area Zero builds which i expect there will be a fair number of this weekend. Good luck to all!
thanks always for the content bro wish the best for you and your channel especially your career in the tcg competitively and just in the community in general , thank you on behalf of the ptcg community big dog ! 🤘🙏👍🔥
I really like Ceruledge but I’m honestly surprised to even see it on your tier list at all, so props to you for including it. I think it needs more time to cook like Gholdengo when it first released. I see it being a B tier deck with the right cards.
Playing with Chien Pao is what got me back into competitive so it holds a special place in my heart, I reached Arceus tier on live with that deck. But I agree, it's outclassed these days, I really wish it gets a comeback someday
@@BasedTCG Yeah, hopefully future sets can bring some good cards that can synergize well with Chien Pao. Like how Regidrago got a huge boost with the introduction of Ogerpon
I'm super consistent and really enjoy playing Dragapult/Dusknoir locally. I keep winning with it. I don't want to change my 60 but the Thorns build is something that looks promising post-rotation. I haven't been playing much pokemon online anymore, since i got into sparking zero and other stuff on the ps5. Plus busier at work and all the holiday stuff with family and partner. I'm trying to grasp how klawf is a top deck nowadays lol
Klawf is really quick and easy to setup. It's a basic mon that does 190 dmg (170 with DTE, which is almost always the case) if paired with Binding Mochi + Brute Bonnet poison will deal 210 dmg as a single prizer. Klawf can consistently out-prize the opponent when it comes to trading. It can donk too but most basic ex's are hovering around 220hp.
@ i understand it's a offensively good single prize basic, it's just before this format it was pretty mid. I guess the list finally got cracked. I haven't been playing much online and nobody at our league is playing it. My 3 main decks I run are Dragapult Dusknoir, Pakia Noctowl and ancient box. Is the crab really a threat to me? Should I respect it or is it just flavor of the month because miraidon is popular?
Yo LDF. I think I’m locked in on lost box for Toronto. What do you think about including iron hands? I’ve seen some people cutting it and it feels alright, I miss it sometimes though. I’ve seen terapagos included too to shore up the big basic matchups.
@ legacy energy makes briar a bit complicated to pull off. Brilliant Blender makes it much easy ramp up damage and take KOs. If your opponent knocks a support mon (fez, squawk, etc.) and a Ceruledge briar is automatically activated.
Drago is S tier. Klawf might be good, but it's not as good as drago imo. Miraidon A tier seems weird to me, any reason except for it winning Sacramwnto?
I would love to see a higher count of tiers just to be a bit more precise. Seems like “yeah it’s B tier” applies to a lot of decks. I think that’s healthy for the meta game, but isn’t inspiring. Also how dare you disrespect my boy Archaludon. (Tiering is fair I just enjoy the deck)
They mightve forgot about klawf the last tier list but not this time, klawf on its own tier now

It's incredible how wide the meta is right now.

Good luck in Toronto! Rooting for you!

It only gets worse, it loses irida and ninja
@@BasedTCG Yeah, hopefully future sets can bring some good cards that can synergize well with Chien Pao. Like how Regidrago got a huge boost with the introduction of Ogerpon

Think snorlax is underrated very good matchup into zard and drago.you just have a hard time against klawf but giacomo can help the matchup.
Good luck in Toronto!

Hands is good imo! Id run it
Ceruledge in D for Disrespected, It’s the most disrespected in format. It can easily beat any deck in the format
With Legacy energy and briar it does well against most.
@ legacy energy makes briar a bit complicated to pull off. Brilliant Blender makes it much easy ramp up damage and take KOs.

I feel like my issue is all the Pult decks either works or it’s building brick houses. No in between

so miraidon is not good?😊
favored drago matchup. Bullies stage 2 or single prize decks
Drago is bdif but it is not an s tier deck, it doesnt over power the format the way it has before its easily top of A tho there is no s tier deck rn
I will be there and I hope to see you there too
Did my boy ceruledge dirty 😂
How is the Lugia And LB match up awful with iron hands and wellspring. As long as you don’t get amped for 3 turn two I think it’s ok
They have Hands, Tomb possibly & you cant deal with pikachu very well
@ na, Pikachu is a fake card. We’re all going to play lively Stadium then ohko it lol

Most tier lists are alphabetical ive done tier 1-1.5 stuff before but that is way too convoluted and sometimes makes no sense
10:20 "Underperforming"?
Yeah
The KLAWF is LAWF
No regi’s honorable mention?? 😢
People always disrespecting Miraidon. Always saying it is bad when it can easily top competitions.
Hehe, funny bike lizard go brrrrrrrrrrr
Lost box Pika is great into Klawf? I would've though that'd be a terrible matchup, Klawf 1 shots Pika with no issue
You just dont use pikachu ex in that matchup & you use Cram Sableye Bear
Fake thumb is not nice
Lol I was pleasantly surprised 😊
