A small hint as to why Brits seem to be less obese than their American cousins, apart from diet. They walk a lot more. From home to bus or train in the morning, then through the interchanges and bus or train to the office. Then walk to the pub for lunch and stagger back. Repeat in reverse at the end of the day, before walking down to the corner shop for essential supplies. Rather more healthy.
