Top tier wiring bro. Nice work! Thank you
Amazing video buddy helps me out loads
Your wiring is on another level. A+ to Jeff West
Thanks nick!
Black fabric paint -- ha -- man I have been using hot glue and I'm always like WTF why does my bead look like poop compared to Jeff's :-P
Lol gotta use the fabric paint! It’s the Secret 🤫 lol
It's unfortunate this video is like "we're going to this and this" and then suddenly it's done without showing how to do it. Could have been a useful video. You might also go over some pros and cons of shortening wires. I know too many people that have done this to their servos and moved them over to a different heli only to find their wires are too short. A more convenient method is to fold the wires inside of the heat shrink (or nylon tubing) which yields the same same effect without destroying your wires.

Here is an in-depth video I made on how to crimp the servo ends. The heat shrink is self-explanatory can you slide it over the wire and shrink it down.
That wiring looks incredible!
Cause you did it! 😂
@@brentwilson2264 😂😂 yes I did!
@@westhobbiesrc8051 I heard the voice and was like…wait a minute lol
@@brentwilson2264 that’s awesome! I hope your enjoy the channel!
Ikr, wonder who did that. Lol😅
What is the purpose of the SRXL2; is it for better reception, you have a satellite receiver mounted on the IKON. All I use is the satellite receivers on my IKON.
It’s used for telemetry and spektrum integration
Hey, thank you for your videos. What glue are you using to stick connectors to fbl unit? Thanks
That is one clean install!!! Thumbs up!!!
Thank you!
I need to ask you where can I order this shrink tubes, please???
I would appreciate if you can direct me to certain area.
Great job there.
Thank you! There is links in the video description. You don’t have to buy 100 foot roll but the main size I use is 3/16. And then for the multiple wires together i use half-inch
TY
My uncle always said, there's a right way, a wrong way and the West way! 👍
That’s very funny! My grandpa always told me that growing up! That’s awesome!
Wow.. very very good! I will doing the same for all my heli's. You're channel has been the MOST helpful for me. So thank you very much for taking the time to do this.
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching the channel! I’m glad it’s been helpful!
Jeff, can I just run two DSMX satellite receivers on the Ikon?
Yes, you definitely can.
I got a bottle of Tulip Slick in black today works fantastic. I've tried hot glue, canopy glue and liquid electrical tape by far the shirt paint is the best.
It really is! Best stuff I’ve found!
@@westhobbiesrc8051 liquid electrical tape is a mess. This stuff you recommended goes on so clean.
@@16-BITFPV it really is! It’s super messy, this stuff is very clean!
That wireing looks awesome great job sir
Thank you!
What do you use for heat to shrink the tubing? I have this 300W embossing heat tool I use for shrink wrap - but I think too much for this application -- it like instantly shrinks heat shrink ...and makes it scream out for it's mama.
I use a 1500w heat gun from harbor freight on low. Works perfectly and never need to turn it on high lol
Nice and clean wiring for sure!
Awesome! Thx you for this
No explanation how to wire the ikon. What so goes where ect ect...
perfect, very nice
Brilliant content with excellent wiring and editing. 🦾👊🏾
Thank you!
